What?
The point was that masturbation should not be lumped together with defecating/urinating because it's not the same thing. It has more in common with breastfeeding.
It has as much in common with breastfeeding as catching a frisbee does.
Except a frisbee does not secrete a biological fluid used for insemination/sustenance and does not share the same health risks that masturbation & breastfeeding do.
If you're not interested in holding a serious discussion, why do you bother posting?![]()
I'm totally interested in a serious discussion, but I keep being presented with silly comparisons of masturbation to breastfeeding.
Point: But masturbation is sexual.
Counterpoint: So are breasts.
One is a food and one isn't. Really, it's one of the more ridiculous attempts to link two activities I've read on here in quite awhile.
This ignores the fact that it is usually very different for the person performing the act. Masturbation is almost always sexual for the person doing it. Breastfeeding is not at all sexual for the person doing it.
Why does that matter? You would think the act that stimulates onlookers would be the one more frowned upon.
It goes back to the foot fetish discussion earlier. Some people may find feet sexually arousing. Should we all then have to cover our feet to prevent their arousal?
Feet are arousing to a select few. Breasts are arousing to the vast majority of men.
I would argue that the sight of a baby breastfeeding is not arousing to a vast majority of men.
Asking why breastfeeding is allowed and not masturbation is a valid question. If we cannot come up with an answer other than "that's just the way it is" how can we definitively say why one or the other should/should not be allowed?
The best answer that I can come up with is that masturbation is a strong sexual act, whereas having breasts exposed is not a sexual act.

If the men can see their nipples, I do not see why it wouldn't be arousing.
