[BTS] Cultural Diversity Mod

Suggestion: maybe put in the graphics for the medieval roads from the Charlemagne scenario as a replacement roads graphic after construction, or advancing to the medieval age? Playing mods like this I keep expecting to see it in but it seems no-one has
 
Played this Mod the last days, but somewhere in the middle it just crashed. Always at the same round, no matter what savegame i used.
Well, de-installed it. Too bad.

You should upload the savegame to Chuggi can take a look at it, this usually means there is an error someplace in the xml.

I haven't tried out the Charlemagne scenario so I don't know what you're talking about. :lol::crazyeye:

So I had a look through the files and found something called "Roman Roads" which I think is it. Unfortunately in the XML it only has two tags (<ModelFile> and <LateModelFile>) so it doesn't allow medieval era graphics. Unless this can be changed via python? It can be changed in the SDK but I don't really want to include a new DLL with this mod. :(

I agree the Explorer looks cool, but it looks like some kind of Martial Art's Master.

Maybe giving him a sword would make him more "explorerish"

Ah, the first of the Mexicans. These are used for the Mayans and Aztecs, correct?

That explorer looks really cool, too.

I think so.. I've only applied them to the Aztecs for now though. :p

When he attacks he wields a samurai sword instead of the default Spanish one. :D

what happened to the medieval germanic settler and the slavic settler ? The fix seems to be the removal of these units.

And while I am at it, why did the germanic worker disappear as well ? ;)

It's a complete download, but it's only 56mb, so not too bad.

They weren't (meant) to be implemented in the first version :lol: as I didn't like them, or they were unfinished - so I just removed the graphics that weren't being used. The critical error was the XML directing to non-existent medieval settlers by the way if you're interested. :lol:
