[BtS] "Extra"

Just downloaded this mod. Looks very fun!

I would like to had some personal changes, but I'm a TOTAL n00b in modding. Can someone explain to me how to make those mods?

New units/units mod
Cannons - come earlier with Chemistry
Catapults - come earlier with Math
Cossacks - now start with blitz.
Airships - now come with Physic AND Combustion
Ironclad Cruisers - come with Steam Power (can sail in ocean)
Trebuchets - come earlier with Construction

Promotion mods:
Assault units (Grenadiers, Marines, Paratroopers) are able to have City Raider promotion. Tanks are not.

New tech/Tech mod:
Castles available with Feudalism.
A free great prophet with Divine Right.
 
I really enjoy your mod. I have been playing it for a while. In the newest version I have noticed one problem so far. You can no longer build an olive press.
 
I didn't finished a game with this mod yet, but i was wondering, is it possible to fully experience the "Next War" era before the Space Victory kicks in?
 
Little bug report (on normal Extra mod):
I see red spots (instead of horses I guess) on carthagian settler units.
 
What about a little text on what this mod is about? I read the first post, but a little summary would be nice to make it easier to understand.
 
Well from my extended list here, it says:
"Big expansion mod - extra tech/units/promotions/buildings/wonders/bonuses/improvements/civics/leaders/civs.", might not be the best description but anyway. Chech out the list for info on other mods.
 
Hey Chiyu I know what this mod is about, but you overlooked one scenerio with which to add content from: Final Frontier. Greywolf's New Destiny mod includes a few spaceships as naval units, and the starfighters as the ultimate upgrade to the fighter line. This rounds out the future age alot. Do you think you could do something similiar, include some final frontier units in Extra?
 
Is there any recommended speed to play this on?

And the auto-installation installed the files at the wrong place, it created a double folder inside mods, that is first a folder with nothing except a .bak file and another one, then the mod folder was created. I had to copy the second folder out to the mod folder to make it work.

I'm I the only one who can't see the fish & clam nets?
 
Two more things, is Dale's combat mod included and I get this strange red marks under my settlers. Dont know why. Nothing important, just a small error.
 
Clones are missing the BUILD_FOREST_PRESERVE BuildType in CIV4UnitInfos.xml.
 
Is there any plan to merge your mod to dale's combat mod? I would love that.
 
Expect the mod to be uploaded today or tomorrow. All bugs reported bugs are fixed, as well as a few things from Final Frontier added to it.

Sorry, I'm not going to add any more features to the mod that don't match with the mod's goals (to combine material from Firaxis mods into one playable package).

As promised, I've taken a good look at Final Frontier and tried to fuse it's contents with Next War to create an expanded future era. Now the future era is finally a worthy era, like the other ones. Below is a screenshot to show you what I mean:

Changes in 3.13c:
- Several bugs from the previous version fixed

- Several units from Final Frontier added:
* The Colony Ship (naval unit) - serves as a future era upgrade for the Transport
* The Alpha Cruiser, Alpha Battleship and Alpha Carrier (naval units) - serve as future era upgrades for the Missile Cruiser, Battleship and Carrier
* The Fighter Squadron and Bomber Squadron (air units) - serve as future era upgrades for the Jet Fighter and Stealth Bomber

- Several buildings from Final Frontier added:
* The Capital Shipyard - required to build the future era ships
* The Squadron Factory - required to build the future era planes

- Several promotions from Final Frontier added:
* Upgraded/Improved/Advanced Engines (+1 move per level) - unlocked with Advanced Nanite Construction
* Upgraded/Improved/Advanced Storage Bay (+1 cargo per level) - unlocked with Alloy Frame Construction

- Several technologies from Final Frontier added (some edited):
* Ascendancy Theory
