My first game started having runtime errors and I'm about to start a new one.

Runtime errors? What does it mean exactly? Did it crash to desktop, or something else?
Can you provide a savegame with a reproducable crash?

I'll not buy Civ5 because i don't want to support steam and the DLC bussiness.

It's not because only of you, but because it might annoy other persons and it is at all not accurate.

Okay...crashes for me too, it's consistent.
The logs do not show anything.
Do you maybe have a savegame a round before?

And if you won't I might try to make a mars now mod for Civ5.

That's okay, I respect your opinion/reasoning. I question why though.

The disadvantages from the system are too big for me.
I gave a short overview about the system itself here. It's a personal preference. I could go deeper into that, but here's not the place for it.

I promise I'll play this mod again soonish.

Tried now the last savegame before the crash, but that save was to long ago, 56 rounds before it, can't reproduce it .
Do you maybe have an autosave (in the normal save folder should be an autosave folder), which is closer to the crash?

You didn't attach the autosaves, there are 4 of your normal saves in the .zip file -> please look again for your autosaves .

There's always a way, but nothing which is suitable here.
I'll just hope that it, whatever it has been, will not occure again.
The savegame is lost, but i bet you've played some other games in between .

Some bad news on the Civilopedia entries: the computer on which they're saved somehow has gotten a serious crack in its monitor. One corner (the upper left corner) still shows whatever it is I'm looking to do, but the rest of the screen is either only able to show colors or is utterly dead. I'm trying to get all my stuff off that computer and move it to this one, but in the meantime, I've got far less time to devote to the Civilopedia entries. Don't get me wrong, though, they're still coming, just that I need to get what I've done and re-download Mars Now!
