[BtS MOD] Wolfshanze 1850-1920 Enhancement Mod v2.0

It is patched to 3.13, as you can see from the fault module version number, in my previous port :)

I have 3.13, and mine says the same thing. That's just the way it is - go bug Firaxis about it. He probably does have the correct patch, despite what the screen says.

Your real problem is undoubtedly the mere fact that you have Vista. To my knowledge, almost any mod involving SDK changes will inevitably crash when you try to play it on Vista. This may be because the modders compiled it on an XP machine, or it may be something else. I honestly don't know. But my experience in making scenarios has been that if Vista's involved, it's the culprit. (XP is another matter entirely: there might still be a bug in there somewhere...)
 
FWIW - Since I have deleted the file GameCore.DLL, and so changed the GLOBAL_WARMING_PROB value, I have had ZERO crashes and the game works great.

Hopefully, for me anyway, that should resolve the CTD's that were a constant problem for me whilst playing this otherwise finely crafted mod :)

If anyone is curious, I am hard at work on v2.7.

I have already added a new Civ (Poland) with animated leaders, custom units and custom music/language... I've added two new industrial-age world wonders and a new naval promotion, along with a large collection of new models/skins.

Not sure on the release date, but I'd say "soon".
 
Oh yeah... and a new unit class, unpurchaseable, but useable... My long-held secret! ...and... stability... no more crashes!
 
Really nice, just hope it's ready either before May 28th, or well after.
 
Poland is full-in now with the mod... Animated Leaderheads, Unique Building, Unique Unit and custom flavor units (even some not in any other Polish Mods).

It was a lot of work, but it's in there now... also, I merged the Wolfshanze Mod with Geomodder's Ethnic Cities... so European cities will look European (no more Chinese Palaces) and African cities will look African, etc, etc.

I'm nearly done (ie: sick of making changes, want to play again)... expect a release within 24/72 hours, short of some unforeseen catastrophe.

Hehe... yeah... but I should be first!

Also, I did some other custom unit things with Poland based on history and Geography, and filled some other missing units with other stuff...

For instance, Poland was not a nation during the late 1800s (the Pre-Dreadnought Age) as Poland was partitioned between Germany and Russia... so I gave them a customized Pre-Dreadnought based on available intel, so-to-speak! (I don't think anyone else has given Poland a custom pre-dreadnought). There were other things like that I did... so I have given Poland a lot of custom ethnic units that I don't think others have clued-in on yet...

...plus my Polish plane pack! ;)

Let's just say Poland in the Wolfshanze Mod will have a lot more custom units then just the Medieval ones and a few WWII units. Oh... and there's like three or four seperate Polish Mods... mine isn't any one of them... I kinda cherry picked from the differant Polish mods to make the Wolfshanze Poland.
