Map-wise, I'm finding Big and Small a lot of fun at the moment... Not sure how balanced it would work out though.

They nerfed warmongering with the introduction of civ4, some of us still managed though!
Have you tried calling around to your local gaming stores, or Wal-Mart? One nice thing about Amazon is you can cancel your order. Wal-Mart here has already set a place on their shelves for it and said they stock their shelves with shipments after 3 pm, so anytime after that or could be available for sale. I plan on swinging by after work tonight.
Amazon.com was showing that on their website for me for Civ4 vanilla on the release day, so I called around, got an EBgames that would hold a copy for me, cancelled my Amazon order, and drove to EBgames to pick it up. Sounds like that's what you need to do tomorrow morning.
Yeah, I got the runaround with them with Civ III and had to cancel, then go to Best Buy to pick it up. But since them, I've become a Prime member and never had a problem. Really hoping and trusting that they'll pull through.

FWIW, I stopped by BestBuy yesterday and they didn't have it. So I checked their website and said that it was supposed to be relaeased tomorrow (7/25). I wonder if anyone told the stores that the release date was yesterday
