What i want to know: Is the music from the bts-homepage used for the opening menu in bts? And is the music from the new trailer used in the game?
Menu music = BtS hompage music. No idea about the trailer music you're refering too. Ummm I do remember seeing a video which turns out to be the trailer for it. (Where the suitcase exchanges hands and then there's a close up of the suitcase being opened.) Can't remember the music for it though.

Yep, Chemistry gives +1:hammers: still and Guilds gives +1:hammers: still.

Watiggi, have you figured out the nuances of Espionage Points yet?

I'm trying to determine whether it's good to allocate all of my EP's to the guy I'm about to go to war with, or spread them out evenly.

And I'm also paranoid now that the guy who's annoyed with me is secretly destroying my production or seeing that I'm researching Construction :shifty:

I haven't played it yet, so I wouldn't know. I will be going for a espionage crazy game when I do play though.

When you have time, can you check out Final frontier and Afterworld. Just some pictures and some comments about how it's played.
Afterworld looks awesome! It's got a really different look and feel to the game too. I was going to put pics up here, but I've decided not to. It would be worth diving into the Afterworld game without knowing anything about it as it has a distinctly different feel to it. Haven't looked at Final Frontier, but based on how different Afterworld is, I'd expect a lot of work has been put into that aswell.

So if the corporation uses corn, can the city still work the corn tile?

Of course.

The way I understand it, "consumes" does not mean the resource is gone, only that it is used to calculate the benefit.

Example:

Let's say you have Sid's Sushi Co. (consumes rice, fish, crab and clam; grants 0.50
food.gif
and 2
culture.gif
per resource consumed).

The city with corporation has resources connected as follows (they do not need to be in fat cross):
- rice (2)
- fish (3)
- clam (1).

This means that city is getting extra 3
food.gif
(6x0.5) and extra 12
culture.gif
(6x2).

This does not mean the resources are gone (and I suspect you still get +3
health.gif
in that city from having 3 different food resources).

However, if you lose or otherwise trade away some of the resources, the bonus from corporation will go down appropriately.

Watiggi , any indication of how corporation's maintenance is payed? Gold, commerce, added to city maintenance ... thanks.
Umm no idea. I can't find anything in the civilopedia at hand. I guess I'd have to play a game to find out for sure. Other people who have played might be better able to answer that.

Okay, if requests haven't been met up to here, then I have probably missed them. If they're important, make the requests again. I'll be disappearing for a while and I'll come back later and post again if it's needed.

Makes sense to me, hope you are right on all this.

Also allows you to roleplay a bit, in that if your BTS "San Francisco" is a port then you can build the Sushi company there. You could also build it in Denver if you wanted too, but that just wouldn't be right ;)

If that is the case then Corporations are fantastic, however I suspect resources will have to be in the city's fat cross, if not then every resourse in your borders connected counts?

thanks a ton for all the info and pics! :D

I'm pretty sure it will be for connected resources, not just fat cross, as corporations have always been touted as "now you have an ability to put your extra resources to some use".
