this mod is for many reasons 100 times better than any rtk game. simply because there is the best game the kingdoms mod is built on.

If that's true, the excellence of Civ4 is the majority of the reason.:)

It's save game compatible, however, the worker clearing swamp fix will only take effect if you start a new game.

change list:

0.280:
fix Flying General promotion bug that no matter who the hero defeats he will restore movement point
fix bug even has tech prerequisite worker cannot clear swamp.
fix CTD when AI delete a transport ship that contains legion core troop.
fix a bug when player choose 'promote from veteren soldiers' in the 'pick a hero' screen no random hero is created.
fix a text bug when fighting an enemy unit with 'Do-or-Die' promotion run strength modifier is shown in combat odds help area.

0.281:
fix in 196 big map Zang Ba hero wrong placement (missing hero type)
fix in 196 middle map Sha Mo Ke don't have palace
fix a bug in Morale Promotion's second attack target choice which could lead to CTD
fix Runner Promotion's retreat destination choice bug
fix a CTD when hero choosing a new promotion as nine transformation, if no new promotion is available
fix a bug sometimes The rogue of white wave will not sprawl
in main interface hero buttons increase from 4 to 8
use 'shield' icon to denote legion member in main interface (formerly used for champions)
Unstoppable and Fighting Withdrawal promotion now will require a 80% combat odds for a unit to initial extra attack
 
Once again I have to say how much I appreciate the speed that you catch bugs and continue to polish this mod. It's amazing! Especially since it's save game compatible!

heres some feedback,

first of all, i played the mod over multiplayer, and had no problems at all.

as for gameplay,
i strongly recommend to add better ai mod, so the ai will be more of a challenge, also,

also, maybe a second uu could be nice also.

other then that, its good fun.

BBAI is already included...Seems like you feel AI is not competent enough. Try play on Deity. :D

About second UU. We will consider this very carefully when we begin the next development cycle.

Do tell us how you feel about playing him, since he has an interesting concept, however, lack polishing. We may put him in the top priority list for next development cycle

hey, that's actually quite good for only being out for a week!

I also really like Zang Ba's concept, though I've never really gotten around to playing as him though.

I think one some way, the human vassal concept should probably be expanded for most characters.

Or maybe work around to it to create some way to have a roaming merc force. (Sort of like how you play the barbarian horde in BTS) A unit that lets you spawn/buy extra units. Should be possible if "require complete kills" is on? Maybe?

I conquered Yuan Shu's city as Zang Ba, but I couldn't gift it to Liu Bei. Am I missing a tech or is gifting cities not possible if you're a vassal?

I naturally expect the hero list to continue to grow. Good stuff.

As to cannot gift city as vassal, I don't know about this one. Sounds like restricting, will check it out.

We will definitely expand the hero list, probably not combat heroes, but leaders, ministers and advisors. The number of combat heroes are pretty good right now I think, especially all the stronger and more attractive ones are already in.
 
The block on giving a Vassal a city was introduced in BTS for... uh... some reason I forget. I don't know how hard it is to remove it, but essentially all it does it to prevent you from gifting cities to vassals unless you're liberating them.
 
Took a break from playing Civ and came back to find this treat! Excellent work here, having a lot of fun with it.
