I noticed that I can't upload a bear onto a galley (I'm not sure if that's a bug or meant to be that way)

Is the bear Hidden Nationality (as it would be if you did not cast Delcare Nationality after you captured it)?

HN Units cannot be loaded into non-HN transports.

I got the Patrian city event in Kingsport (population 5) but the event wouldn't let me sacrifice 3 population to do the event. Not sure if it's a bug or not.

I have found that this event very rarely lets you choose that option. It is not specific to MNAI, but has been like tat since it was first added to FfH2.

I think that the event only works if you are researching a technology and have more than 25% of the research for that tech left to go. If you either are not researching a tech or are too close to completion, then it is disabled.

There should probably be <PythonCanDo> added to prevent the event from triggering when it cannot be useful.
 
I've seen AI Charadon use a great merchant for a trade mission in a pop 1 barb city :D

AI seem to be building too many buildings that enable units. their cities usually have archery range, stable, hunting hall, training yard, siege workshop all together instead of spreading them around which would save them a lot of production and probably lead to better mixed troops :)

I can confirm this. I used the AI methods to give free buildings in BarbarianCiv for FFH; and I noticed exactly that. I thought maybe it is caused by giving these buildings all in the same turn.
 
it seems AIs are a bit too willing to gift gold, often I get contacted by someone pleased who offers gold for tech, I say why don't you just gift me all your gold instead and they accept :D

they close and open borders seemingly at random, already reported iirc?

and they're imo too unreasonable in their resource offers ( i.e. they want more than they give, especially when they don't like you )

I got a message on the top of the screen at one point ( while using AV ) stating "cannot play mods/fallfromheaven2/sounds/soundtrack/darklyeverafter.mp3"
 
could the godking info popup ( the one you get when you research mysticism ) be changed so it no longer claims it gives happy with religion and commerce boost?
 
baby spiders have a 2% chance of becoming giant spiders if they win a combat. this is a bug and is supposed to be 20% ( see ffh2 manual ) . it makes sense too, because 2% will hardly ever trigger.
 
I have found that the game crashes when a land unit that has both Boarding and Water Walking attacks a Naval unit that is the only guardian of a Superfort.

Edit: A couple more tests reveal that the water walking part is irrelevant, and that the same problem occurs in Cities as well as Superforts.


I suspect that the crash is related to how ships are normally destroyed automatically when a City is captured. The boarding code may be looking for a ship to capture after the city capture code already destroyed the ship.



Edit 2: I just came across an odd (and completely unrelated) issue. In my current game Dain asked me (Auric) to make peace with Ethne, and I agreed. Ethne had just become a vassal of Arendel Phaedra (and lost Tasunke as her vassal, as I'd just captured everything that belonged to her outside her capital city). I ended up at peace with Ethne, but still at war with her Master.

Despite being at war with her Master, I was able to stay at peace with Ethne until I accepted Tasunke's Capitulation. By becoming my vassal he had to declare war on Arendel and both her vassals, and when he declared war on Ethne he dragged me into it too.
 
The Wildlands option should probably state that animals spawn all the game.

Heh. OK. I'll try and add some more logging to the Great Person decisions so I can see what's going on.

There really isn't any functionality in the DLL to determine what units a city can build. I had to fudge in some code to get the AI to build these buildings in the first place! I'll add this issue to the list.

I tried this out not long ago and it resulted in way too many Polar Bears, IMO.

The Elohim are very angry at me and apparently a lot more powerful than me (but war weariness 13 shows up next turn). Is this a bug when they want to give me lots of money for peace?

Screenshot doesnt really help me in this case. I would need a savegame to look at.

OK. Looks like the bug here is that the AI requested you make peace with a Vassal civ. I'll look into it.


The Lanun have a picture of a parrot but it says you can build a hawk:

It's just civ-specific unit art for the Lanun. The 'parrot' is not actually a different unit. I'll add a request to make it a Lanun Unique Unit, but it's very low priority.

let me explain this better :D

I founded Esus but didn't convert immediately. A couple turns later I converted to Esus and noticed the Esus icon next to Falamar on the scoreboard ( not sure if he got an autospread or he converted because of my nightwatch spreading it to one of his cities )

Anyway, that icon next to his name shouldn't be there ( although it's kind of a moot point since there's no way to remove the icon when you contact him ) . so it seems the issue only pops up when you're also Esus, or possibly when you're the founder.
 
oh, ok then :)

regarding your change for Mistform AI, won't simply setting them to animal ai cause issues with the ones summoned by AIs? I think Eitb made the summon a different unit altogether in the XML to avoid that.
 
another issue I've noticed: killing workers with HN units doesn't give any message in the top section of the screen. it still works, just a bit confusing at first since it seems like you just walked on it and it disappeared :D
