Bug reports and technical issues

In America auto-turns, I always get civilizations showing up on the scoreboard, and they slowly gain in number. Below is a screenshot during the turns.

Of course, I am a whole lot more worried about what East Asia looks like, or needing to make war with France.
 
No, I started seeing Poland as 0 at the start,and France had failed to colonize any of the New World. Often I get Thailand, and once I got Byzantium.
 
at the very end of the tech tree there is a tech called TXT_KEY_TECH_BUDDHISM. you need to discover it to found buddhism and it is also red instead of the normal blue color for undiscovered techs. did i do something wrong downloading or is it supposed to be like that? I just recently downloaded and started playing this mod and this is the only thing i dont understand
 
Buddhism is founded with the completion of the first Hindu temple. My guess is that there needs to be a tech for religions, but don't worry about it.
 
thank you, two more things i noticed, when playing as korea on the map ethiopia is like revealed but with the fog, so i have my area in korea on the map and this random spot of fog on ethiopia. Also when i just started a game as aztecs i had a random catapult spawn on ice in antarctica
 
Aren't settled slaves meant to give 1:mad: pr. unit/"citizen", instead of 1:mad: as long as you have 1 or more of them? It seems the latter is the case.
 
Am I not supposed to be able to raze cities as Arabs? Whenever I conquer a city I don't get the chance to raze. I am having to leave the cities undefended, let the barbs get them, hoping for a raze or I wait till they flip and disband. Is this normal for Arabs?
 
I've seen it with cities that flipped to me and that I didn't want, so ceded to a random civ, or cities targetted by trading companies, that I didn't get immediately because war happened instead. I'm not sure it's working as intended.

You can't raze Jerusalem and holy cities.
 
Yeah thats not it, these were just crappy maghreb and persian cities. Also stupid ninua and amastris. Had to wait for ninua to flip and disband, amastris I gave to rome, flip and disband after byzzie collapse, the others I weakened for the barbs to raze. Irritating. On my next play through it didn't happen so must be bug
 
I think Rome is scripted to go to war against Greece at some point, maybe you got unlucky and it was during the truce.
 
Nah AIs have been able to break peace treaties at will since 1.10 has been released, and maybe even earlier. I'm not sure it's a bug though. Might be in place to prevent peace treaties from insignificant gifts.
 
That is not my experience. Only scripted events allow AI to break Peace Treaties. This includes spawns which prompt vassalisation and then declarations of war, as well as the scripted war mentioned above between Rome and Greece.
 
It seems Mughals, Tibet and Iran consistently spawn with no palace in their capital. I suspect this makes them more unstable than they should be, and might be causing some crashes.
 
Hey, I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but I've started an alternate history campaign as France having been overrun by the armies of Abdul Rahman Ghafiqi, establishing the Sultanate of Faransa. This means that I've converted to Islam and will be switching to both Theocracy and Absolutism once I've researched Civil Service. However, the dynamic name of my civilization is "Frankish Empire," which I assume is the default name for a non-Christian, dynastic France. Is this the case, and if so, how would I go about editing the game files to modify the dynamic civilization names for France? Much thanks
