Isn't there a .exe file for the patch?

I tried to play with Italy, took Rome rapidly, etc... but the check didn't appear when I finished my 3rd university. I thought 'no problem, I read that the checks are broken for Italy. Let's keep going !' But when 1570 came, even if I finished my 4th univ., it kept showing '0 built' and, of course, said 'goal failed'. Annoying...
This being said, I'd like to know clearly what are the areas to own for the UHVs (I think Greece is obvious, Ethiopia should be the core of this civ, but Libya has to be clarified IMHO)

Libya is in the Maghreb.
Otherwise known as the Carthage region.
You know, like Algiers & Tunisia.

Incidentally I addressed both of these issues recently. Italy's UHV code still had some relics of the time when it was Rome's rebirth in the code, and I've also added UHV goal requirements to the tile tooltip display (so for example when playing Italy, all tiles belonging to Libya will say "Libya" in their tooltip ;)).

Can't commit at the moment because my laptop has WLAN problems, though.

Leoreth in the latest SVN version is still reinessance bug,I mean it`s impossible to build patronage wonders after discover any technology which advances to reinessance era(astronomy, printing press etc) what is pointless, because it`s forcing to build all patronage wonders in medevial era
cheers

Can AI build cities in Marsh tiles?

@fresol

ive seen that before too. I've even gotten that city through congresses and had a trade-able source of marsh! of course no one pays anything for it, but still.

also, ive never seen any other marsh city founded besides that one. and come to think of it, i think i may have even been able to settle that one too... cant remember.

Try to get your marsh mellow, then it will be worth something.

I will address that soon.

Marsh resource is quite :D. We need more of it.

Leoreth I realy like the current form of city states. The concept is great. However it seems that it is heavily bugged. In my newest atempt to take Maya into space. I adopted CS when i got the CoL and the bonus was realy joyful.

However the bonus didn't dissappear after my capital started to work 8 tiles. This seemed like WAD since only 6 of these tiles were land, the rest were sea.(the tooltip says 7 land tiles).
So i was happily prospering, but around Aztec spawn the bonus vanished suddely in all cities (all my 3 cities were working 8+ tiles, but never more than 6 land). I said fine and continued playing, afterall i enjoyed the bonus long enough.

The gamebreaking issue came, when i switched to republic. Now all my specialists give -1 food (including settled GP). This is quite stopper for me as I am running SE.

I am going to add all Maya specialist +1 food in XML and continue playing, but this bug should be fixed :p

edit: Restarting the game fixed the issue. Still there is something buggy in there.

Are GPs supposed to flip? They do that in 1.81. Also since when has Turkey flipped Constantinople from start?

Also the AP should fixed to obsolete earlier, so that the Pope doesn't use the AP to force America to abandon one their cities to an euro civ. I also don't see how the AP could even affect America, since it is running secularism. The decisions should forced upon civs, whose SR is the AP religion.

I'll see what's going on there.

AI Turkey does that, unless it's a capital. And everything flips, in general.

Agreed, but when? Scientific Method (again)? Or even Printing Press?

Can't see what's wrong here from the code, can you provide a save right before you change eras?

Also, I'd like to mention from that same France game,
and what I've experienced in a Rome & England game
as well, there's a persistent problem concerning city captures.
Sometimes, when you capture a city, it'll give you the option
to raze, but when you do, nothing happens.
I had to WB out Dublin after I captured it and razed it,
but it still stood there even after I clicked the raze option.

but i DO agree that AP decisions should only apply to catholic civs.
I don't understand that. Without Catholicism, there's no reason to care about its resolutions, simply vote "never".
