Bug reports and technical issues

Most recent SVN. Its only the goal checker in the victory screen so far, I have not gotten to the cut off date.

The Phoenician victory text still reverts to the old victory conditions after you found a city.

Edit: I'm playing on Epic, if that changes anything.
2nd Edit: Okay, I know what's wrong. You forgot to change the text for Phoenicia/Carthage in Assets/XML/Text/CIV4GameText_VictoryRFCMarathon.

Sorry, false alarm. For some reason I got it only after getting the railroad to Novgorod though.

No, it had nothing to do with Novgorod. The goal tracker doesn't check if the connection exists currently on the map, it only shows you whether the game has recognized the connection during the per-turn checks already. I suspect you finished the railroad in the turn of the save you sent me, because the next turn it was properly recognized and displayed.

Rome UHV

If I built a city in Massilia, where would it counts on, Iberia or Gaul?
Because there's no label there ;)

(at least in my current revision, haven't updated again)

Neither.

Yes, when going for that UHV it shouldn't matter so much about the outer cities (Gaul and London) as the rest of your highly production superior cities (Rome, Athens, Spain).

If you really don't like Lyon/Lugdunum, go with Strasbourg/Argentoratus instead, it's quite a good city.

So I was playing India and invading China, turn 125 comes along and I fail the first UHV goal...and my main stack and galley get booted right out of China as if I had signed a peace accord or something.

That's weird, do you have the save from right before that?

There's a "manage attachments" button when you create or edit a post.

Tried a few Turkish games, every time I capture Constantinople on the first turn no cities flip to me and I get no workers. It only happens if I take Constantinople right away.

What about two turns after capture?

Having a couple of CTDs with the most recent SVN version:

1. CTD as England, 600AD. I conquered Quelimane early on, and then voluntarily surrendered it to the Portuguese Trading Company event some turns later. The city then became a ruin, which caused a CTD when I hit end turn. When I reloaded and refused to surrender the city there was no CTD.

2. CTD as Dutch, 600AD. Aztecs had collapsed and their city near the spice was barb. When I captured it I got an immediate CTD. Thought it might be cos there was a slave in the city and I was running Mercantilism, but when I used WB to remove the slave the same thing happened.

Bug with Italian influential culture UHV:
On the victory screen it shows:
Code:
[B][I][U]Three[/U][/I][/B] cities with influential culture by x AD
0/[B][I][U]5[/U][/I][/B] Cities.
(Sorry I couldn't get a screenshot, all my recent screenshots are coming black. Anybody know why?)
