Bug reports and technical issues

In the greek conquest UHV, you need 2 cities in persia for the victory condition to trigger, even if there are no other cities in the area - look at the screenshot.

If I create another city through the worldbuilder, then it does trigger.

Given that the other 3 areas only 1 city per, I presume this is a bug?

Did you check to see if it triggered when the city is no longer under revolt?

not sure if anyone has seen this but it was strange. i was playing as babylon, missed a uhv and just played it out until i could switch to arabia. when i assumed control of the new civ a wierd thing happened.

i could not see any cities in egypt or the levant. i had troops sitting on city ruins in egypt, but my culture controlled egypt as if there were flipped cities there. i opened up world builder and there were indeed cities. there. but back in the game, just ruins, yet somehow culture.

It doesn't seem like anyone builds the AP anymore. The Romans, Byzantines and Spanish never bother with it and it seems like the only other civ to build it is the Greeks if they can survive that long.

Late reply, but is it not to do with cultural control? So the problem is that the Indian culture in east Persia is calculated by the game as giving them control? With another city you get twice as much culture as them, and so have control. That's all I can think of - in my Greek game I didn't need two cities in Persia IIRC.

Control is defined by number of cities in the zone.

I played 3 more games, two in which it didn't trigger under the same circumstance, and one in which it did. Very weird.

Hi, longtime lurker in the forums. I finally decided to join when I tried to play Dawn of Civilization version 1.10. I click on Play A Scenario, but I get a screen w/ a map(old RFC, 1-tile Hispaniola)but no options to click on in the box. I press OK, but I get an icon that says-
Error
Failed to read worldbuilder file""

Can you help?:please:

Screenshot of files?

How would I take a screenshot?

EDIT: Also, my dad did something to my computer. After it was done, many files and folders were deleted. There isn't any My Games folder anymore. The only way I can reach the BtS folder is through a search. Vanilla RFC is somewhere in temp.

Depends on the operating System. I mean of the mod files, not in game.

Snipping Tool Then. in game printscreen.

Although how do I do it? I try prt sc and fn+prt sc, but it doesn't do anything. I'm not the best with computers.

And I'm not sure if this could be my problem, but could it be because I used the wrong 7ZIP to extract it?(32 or 64 bit)

Print Screen makes a screenshot and puts in on the clipboard. You have to paste it somewhere to see and save it. (I usually use Word)

OK. I've got Assets and CvGameCoreDLL files (not necessarily in order:P)
I try to upload it in Word, but it says it is an Invalid File?

Not sure if it has been posted already, but the portugese colonial resources UHV does not trigger. It shows as completed in the tracker in the victory screen (f8), but it never registers and I get a failed message once I reach 1650.
