Bug reports and technical issues

I'll correct the Dutch UHV problem.

Frederick looks like he needs a better text overall.

I don't see what's wrong with it, why would he need a better text? Like 'Frederick the Great' or 'Alexander the Great', so too 'Germany the great'. Nothing weird about that, right?

I'd say both are correct; there's Großdeutschland, for one.

Besides the fact that that would be Greater Germany, it's not really an appropriate term for Frederick anyway.

Is that so? In Dutch, it would be 'Groot-Duitsland', which is 'Great Germany'. 'Greater Germany' would be 'Groter-Duitsland', which I suspect would be something like 'Größer Deutschland' or 'Größerdeutschland'.

Well, perhaps it's 'great' in some languages (Dutch and German) and 'greater' in others (English).

Yeah, that's just how it works in English. The "groß" in Großdeutschland doesn't really mean a direct description, but instead a comparison to the alternative Kleindeutschland.

The terminology arose during the 1848 revolution where the revolutionaries were divided on whether a new German nation state should include Austria (Großdeutschland) or exclude Austria (Kleindeutschland).

I know that, although I thought it was a little different; the Kleindeutschland solution would unify the northern German states, while the Großdeutschland solution would unify both the northern and southern German states, including Austria. The former was supported by Prussia, the latter by Austria.

Although, I also remember the argument being that, since Austria encompassed lots of non-Germans (Hungary, northern Italy, et cetera), the whole of Austria should be excluded. Which implies there is no distinction between Austria and the southern German states, and that, as you say, it was purely about whether to include Austria or not.

Perhaps I should Google it. :P

Happen to me too. Also with some python exception at the end of the turns:

AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'iVictoryTaoism'

File "CvRFCEventHandler", line 658, in onBeginPlayerTurn

Okay, I'll commit a fix soon.

Is this the new mechanism? Because there the whole Congress should be resolved in the same turn.

Yes; I meant it gets announced next turn and nothing follows.

It's not the first time that this occurs to me....
When I play Italy the game crashes around 1850....
This time it crashes on 1858, turn 376 while it's save automatically (i read that in the infrmation window).
It's frustrating because palying with Italy took a lot of time....:sad::sad::sad:

I add my saves, the last one is the turn before it crashes.....

I've already tryed different strategies reloading previous saves and made peace or declear war or trade researches, but it still crashes....

P.S.
I've the same problem with International Congress posted before.

There are still issues with the Congress system in the latest SVN. While voting can now occur, nothing actually happens after the votes are in.

So no results popup is shown? It worked for me in strijder20's save. Can you share yours?
