Byzantium's not even Catholic, yet I voted for him in the AP election.

Edit: Check out the outcome of the election! Who would have thought... The other candidate I could vote for was either France or Spain(forgot, but definitely not myself).

The slave trading bug is still there(kind of). In this save you can trade slaves to France and get them back for free. But after I got map from them they no longer wish to trade me slaves(back to normal). Revision 800.

Tibet starts without a palace in their capitol Oo

(moved units away from starting pos and waited for the barb Lhasa to flip, it became capitol but had no palace)

[SVN793]

Never had that issue, with my many Tibet starts in many revisions. :hmm: Does it show a star for the city?

No, because it does not have a palace. I've seen this before, as Phoenicia I think.

of course it does, else I would have noticed immediately:

Finally I was able to locate CTD Canada bug. Which was spectacular:

So I finally had a look at this. From the save I can conclude that Toronto has a +127 commerce sea plot yield modifier.

The only thing that can change the sea plot yield modifier are buildings with the corresponding property, which is as far as I know only used for commerce in the Portuguese UB, which the city doesn't have at all, much less 127 times (yes, you can have buildings multiple times).

That means I have no idea where that modifier comes from.

You don't happen to have earlier saves before you took control over Toronto?

I wish :(

I was thinking if only I get a new SVN this annoying thing will go away like a bad dream. Instead of dwelling on it I felt like getting away, and not saving much. Almost like a reset button, when your computer gets slow and you don't know why but you want to start using it again, grrr.

I am trying to recreate this situation, though. I still think it is memory leak somewhere. How to disable autosave suppression? If I produce an autosave right before CTD while being taught how to open WB in the middle of autorun I might be able to locate this again and/or send it to you for more knowledgeable investigation...

[last SVN before culture update]

when I conquer Lvow back from the Vikings my game crashes every time. But not with the "usual" crash to desktop but instead just does nothing.
I assume the conquest causes the Vikings to collapse (and those always take a few seconds) but this time the calculations just dont seem to end.
I'm on 795 (revision before culture change) and cannot open this save.

Edit: saw that you were on 793 later on, which worked for the save. I also had a lag after capturing Lwow, but switching to desktop and back had it running again. You are right that it's the Viking collapse, but no infinite loops.

game crashes to desktop at the end of turn 75. Have tried loading earlier saves and changing build orders, troop movements, etc....no avail

[SVN793]

I'd really love to continue this game, so if anyone finds a solution/workaround....
This crashes on loading for me, for you too?

Traded a slave to France, it showed up red in their table with "we would have nothing to gain".

can't test right now, but these are the saves 1 and 2 turns earlier, I remember that those worked for me. [SVN793]

edit: yeah, crashes on loading for me as well (turn 75) -.-
but the turn74-save works and all you have to do is pause the 1 warrior twice to reach the crash after turn 75 :(

to expand on that: if you dont found a city with any during your first 2 turns and then flip 1+ cities, your capitol won't have a palace. just had a game with Italy where I wanted to move my capitol 1 tile, but unfortunately the next turn that tile was covered again by foreign culture -> I couldnt build a capitol before Venice flipped to me. But of course without a palace in it -.-

That's weird, I managed to trick world map, meditation and 440 gold from them with 5 slaves, which was only worth 50 gold each in their offer. Will try again later.

Ok, Canada finally got immigration event early on, not sure if I got any :gp: though (had 15 before and after). How this UP work exactly, what % :gp: does Canada get? And it all was accompanied with bunch of Python exceptions (only first 2 are shown):
