Bug Reports and Technical Issues

How does WB prove anything? GPs are named on spawn.

I've tested this by creating a GSM for Korea by actually spawning it, and it was correctly assigned a name.

Great Statesman in my games are never named on spawn, so I tried to work it out by WB: they are named just in this way. It should be a problem of mine.

Unless you provide a specific save, I can't do more to try and reproduce this, it seems fine on my end.

Can one remove rainforest after biology? The tech description only says jungle.

I know I can simply check it out by WB, but I can't play the game right now.

Duh, yes.

we all know that you can save and reload games

I've recently got back into playing DoC, but now I face constant crashes every now and then. The crashes oftentimes happen after the first turn, usually by the second. The longest I've went through without crashing is probably 7ish turns. It doesn't crash into desktop or anything, it simply froze and had its audio repeating, it happens for all starts.

I've tried everything up to the point I deleted the game entirely and re-installed them to no avail.

I've been having this problem for a while too, I installed the latest version of the SVN and the 64-bit utility, but it still happens.

Found Protestantism and didn't recieve the holy city. Should I be in Europe to do so?

With Eiffel Tower a GA consumes at most 3 people, but does it require the normal amount of people?

Yep, if you play Korea or China and discover Printing Press and trade to any European civ before protestantism is found in Europe, that civ automatically gets the Holy city.

The normal amount? What do you mean?

Yep, if you play Korea or China and discover Printing Press and trade to any European civ before protestantism is found in Europe, that civ automatically gets the Holy city.
But it sounds as if he was Catholic when discovering Printing Press, and actually founded Protestantism himself.

But it sounds as if he was Catholic when discovering Printing Press, and actually founded Protestantism himself.

It requires 4 people in order to be able to trigger the GA, although it consumes 3.

Obviously I am catholic, but I don't recieve the holy city and noone does.

There is a Polish Musketman defending the Portuguese city of Sao Paulo in the 1700 AD scenario.
There is a Jungle on Spices in Mexico that is a rainforest in the 3000 BC and 1700 AD scenarios.
Papua New guinea has a Banana that has a Jungle on it. It could change to a rainforest when the Marsh on New guinea is removed.

The last is intentional.

I really don't know what to do about this to be honest.
