Any clue on what's going on here? Apologies in advance if this is supposed necroposting, just wanna clear that upPlaying as the arabians on a 3000 BC start, I noticed that my civilization collapses in turn 293 (1230) AD, when the Mongols are invading turkestan and mesopotamia. The problem here is, I am on unstable stability and not on collapsing, so I wonder, why did my civilization fully collapse? I couldn't exactly catch a picture but I have the stability screen AND a save file 2 turns before the event. The bug is initiated with the Great Prophet that spawns in, and you proceed to procure a Golden Age. The following turn, you full collapse. Maybe someone can make something of this
P.S: Forgot to mention that I am playing on the newest 1.18 patch
It happened to me 2-3 times on 1.17, it’s when you’re playing a civ who loses an amount of cities in a short lapse of time (typically when they flip during an other civ spawn), you become immediately collapsing no matter your stability score. Once I was collpasing because of it, while being at +23 in stability, but finally it always turned back to normal after a few turns, I never collapsed for this reason.Any clue on what's going on here? Hm. Not really in my control to do anything about that when the cities flip... guess I'll know that next time. Seems like a bug to me since it didn't refresh at all, but whatever. I don’t really think it’s a bug, it’s probably intented, maybe only the sync between the stability score displayed and the real one on this moment is bugged.
Barbs.py is unused and only kept around for reference. Minors.py is for city and unit spawns.I don't know if there's an explanation already but there appears to be a mismatch between the coordinates in Barbs.py and the ones given in Worldbuilder.
The spawn for Jerusalem:

If you lose more/or Half of your cites in several turns you will collapse to core. Dont know, why you collapse completely, maybe you also got economical hit? Try to settle more cites outside of flip area, maybe it will helpHm. Not really in my control to do anything about that when the cities flip... guess I'll know that next time. CyGame().addPlayer(i, iSelectedLeader, iSelectedCiv, (CyGame().getGameTurn()), 1, 0)
Interesting. First time seeing this so I guess I'll keep in mind next time not to overexpand. Lost like 6/7 cities only to flips but that's apparently enough to COMPLETELY collapse me, I believe my economy more or less stayed the same (or even improved)If you lose more/or Half of your cites in several turns you will collapse to core. UPD. I checked the AutoSave file, he lost less than half cites, and if you refuse to flip (flip question asked in same turn as in file) - you collapse immediately.
Aw, I was having fun adding the Papal States, (celtic) Scotland and the Swahili coast proper to the scenario. Or cramming in the usual Roman Empire alt history. Oh well...It does not make sense to use that platybuilder option. I will disable it.
