To the Database, well i never saw something like this. Do you use a legal copy of CiV?
It looks like you where missing some gamefiles from vanilla. To fix this, use Steam and verify your gamedata.
 
Hi, I'll try to give you all information.
Running the newest G&K Version (see at screen Civ Version I purchased) and also the latest Version of this mod. Playing with Elizabeth, Map Ring, Tiny, Emperor and normal speed. (For all settings look @screens)

I uploaded also my quicksave - maybe it will help. I cannot continue the game like this :/

Any ideas?

Iam not sure where the problem come from, but i bet this is no bug, maybe the game need more balancing. Sorry to say it but i cant help you.:rolleyes:
 
I found a bug: Policies don't apply to UU.

My first game with this mod I played as Arabia. :c5gold: :c5gold: :c5gold: :c5trade:
Arabias UB is the Bazzar which replaces the Market.
In the policies I saw a policy that gives Market +1:c5culture:.
After picking that up my Bazzars didn't get the +1:c5culture:.

So I later played as Policies don't apply to UU.

My second big game I played as The Huns. :c5war: :c5war: :c5razing: :c5occupied:
I like that the Battering Ram :c5strength: is very good in this Mod.
I used them in to the middle ages at that point with upgraded Battering Rams as Cannons :c5rangedstrength:. Due to all the Monopoly buildings and other misc building like the Shaman Hut my 39 Puppet Cities :c5puppet: doesn't build culture :c5culture: buildings . My old stratergy is using the feuture that Puppets don't increases Policy cost :c5culture: but builds up to generate very much culture :c5culture: making many cities with much culture functional. :c5happy::c5happy::c5happy::c5happy:
 
This isn't really a bug, but aren't the Gatling Gun and Machine Gun out of order in the tech tree? It doesn't make sense that you get the weaker unit second especially as this interferes with the upgrade path of the crossbowmen.

Also, this may have changed since G&K but I can't seem to upgrade my pikemen to riflemen. I've been training this unit the whole game(my starting warrior, got upgraded to spearmen from ruins) and now they've hit a dead end upgrade wise.

I'm on the current version(last updated Nov.24 right?) and playing with the extended setting.

I used a stratergy as Sweden :c5citystate: :c5citystate: :c5citystate: to build many Pikemens to then upgrade them to UU Haakaapleelittaaa (!!!!) Lancers and rush the world back in vanilla G&K. Lancers is in Military Stratergy and is afaik an optional tech.
 
In the social polices, under Constitutional, there is a policy called Basic Law. It reads that it gives 2 happiness for every garrisoned city. I have chosen it in three different games now, and each time, it made no change in my happiness, at all. Each time, I had 20+ cities, with garrison in 100 percent of them.

IIRC the whole Constitutional tree is broken, not only the garrison happiness.
This might be fixed in the new version, but only god knows when this will happen.
Anyway thanks for the report, and one tipp from me use the Ingameeditor (IGE), so that you can reselect politics when they not work, so that you can play without frustration.:)

Thanks for the reply. My apologies if it was a redundant post. As far as when it will be fixed, it happens when/if it happens. I understand mods are free and good ones require a lot of work that is done/given freely, so we have to be patient. Much appreciation to everyone that has worked on this mod.

The 21 Civ bug that I mentioned back in October (post #161) is still intact. I noticed that Gedemon has managed to modify the .dll to allow YnAEMP Giant Earth 34 civilizations on a map - since CCtP incorporates YnAEMP's Huge but not Giant map, is it possible to similarly increase the number of players in CCtP games?

I bet it will be possible, but its one of many things that needed the work of the developer here:yup
Anyway playing with more then 20 civs on giant maps will really slowdown this game.
Belief me i played all my last games ( i7, predator) with gigantic maps and a lot of civs, and at some time the loading time between turns increase heavily.
Otherwise its just so funny to play this maps :viking:
 
I'm having issues with the tech tree not displaying properly past the medieval era, even the drop down list of new techs to choose is blank now so it's impossible for me to progress.

I'm using the latest version from the download link on the forum, tried deleting cache and mode user data and reinstalling the mod. Even then if i start a new game tech tree is still broken :confused:

edit - found the post about techbuttoninclude.lua no idea what to do with it though forum searchs have turned up nothing

Really want to play more of this mod but just unable to because of this one issue with the tech tree.
 
Only thing I can say is that it should be fixed on the next version. I'm definitely not the best at tech tree :lol:. Maybe fires can lend some help here, although i think waiting will still be the best option :(

Ahh annoying I'm dying to play this mod but no tech tree makes it impossible to do so.

None the less I look foward to the next release.

I also had this issue now when i installed civ and this mod. Though it might have something to do with maps, because i then tried to start a new game andinstead of using a random map i used one of the provided world maps, and then the tech tree seems to work as it should.

Thanks for reporting. Can you remember with what kind of map the bug appeared.
When this bug is related to some kind of maps, we could fix it.
Also only a few CCTP player report this bug, so thanks for the news.;)

iirc it was a random created map , continents and all other stuff on the default/middle value. Large map i belive.

Also have a couple bugs i think:
I have now a city with 3 squid resources all with fishing boats, but i cant make squid conglomerate. it says in red "must have 3 squid".
Also on same city i have a problem where i cannot make manganese distribution center, even though i have manganese 2 tiles away. I am guessing that the problem might be that i have a manufactory from a great engineer and not a mine on it though.

EDIT:
Now that i connected a squid resource in another city, for a total of 4 squid, i can build the squid conglomerate. So i guess either an error in the number, or in the tooltip for this. will test the manganese to build mine there later.

edit 2: Another possible bug is the Basic Law in constitutional in social policies. I picked this but got no more happiness, even though i have garrisoned units in all my towns.
