Bug Reports

Post logs please ppl, when you report bugs. Missing text entries are usualy down to a duplicate name, and to see this(I do not use the updated files) need the logs :)
 
Log of 42 turns of gameplay, with text errors for every new unit/tech in the game

Thanks, the database shows 2 problems with loading content (but i have the same and no problems), its the lua log that shows me a lot of errors ( i bet this is while with(or)(playing) with assiria and for sure a big problem with touristic office that i have and not this version).
But have to look why i didnt get this errors, and to be cool give me time till friday and i wil try to fix it and look if i can overlook the last minor bugs (like gifting a unit to a cs is not shown as Text, and overwork for the themebonus and the national wonders as well).
Also will include 2 new electricity providing buildings.

But the first goal is fixing all bugs, so that we can start from a clear point when chrome, fires and horem will comeback.
 
Ok while looking into the pretech, i discovered a problem 2 techs got the same request (will not work), and other technologies have no correct pretechnology. So could be easy fixed. but since chrome was doing something i didnt know, i would like to keep my changes small, so that they can be easy replaced in the future.
For that i will rework my upload from last week, try to get out most of the bugs, and then wait till the crew is back. So that we can start from a new point.
 
Using the latest version I've seen:
1. World Congress is having votes every other turn.
2. Coal Plant description has happiness +1-2 and does city must not have a factory.
3. I have not seen any poppy resources.

Thanks, that with the world congress, you play in standard time i guess, i encountered the same but i changed my files not the CCTP files. Will look into it.
The coal plant, has a -2 happiniess, but it only works with the dll mod by whoward.
Also the UI need a overwork for the dumb +- Happiness.
Yeah poppy and other resources are not included in this version.
 
Hey, i didn't play for a couple months but now wanted to play a game again. I still have only gods and kings with Version 3.1, but every time i try to start a new game the game just crashes.
I have tried both the normal and extended, and with and w/o DLCs (+support.)
Same thing happens if i wanna load an old game
I have not done anything to my civ or my documents-civ folders.
Did steam somehow install so stupid version that broke the game, or do you have any idea what might be wrong?

Also, it seems the CCTP forum is gone, if i try to go there i get taken to the civfanatics main forum, both by going from my history, or by clicking the "Civ 5 - Community Call to Power project" link above or below the posts on this topic, whats up with that? :P

Sorry to say that but the last patch before BNW came out, breaked this mod.
So i didnt looked at it yet, busy with getting BNW working. But its on my list.

For the forum problem, i never encountered this, maybe its related to your browser.
But strange, anyway thanks for the report.

I was planning to get BNW soon anyway, so guess now i have no reason to wait much longer :P Cant wait for a good CCTP version with BNW set up. Love the work you guys are doing!

The forum problem was simple enough to solve just by clearing cookies + cache on the browser - cant belive i didnt try that before. Too bad i tried it while writing this so i got logged out when i tried submit and had to write it all over though :P Not really worth it now though - gonna have hell recovering passwords now on all the places xD

Yes you can, you have to possibilities. You can wait till friday, when i will release a overworked version or you can replace the file "Game Pace Rules" in the CCTP folder Z_Global with the file attached to my post. Iam not sure if this will work with save games, but works with new game.

Thank you for the welcome and thank you for the help. I love this mod play it all the time, it made me not want to play vanilla anymore. I cant wait till the policies and everything get worked out, everything takes time I guess. Anyway thanks again for the help and keep up the good work.:goodjob:

You are welcome, and yes it takes time.
But the time will come for a complete overwork of CCTP not just a quick working progress. There are lot of things to do, and the expansion BNW blows out old thoughts about CCTP.
We have now much more possibilities, also if we take advantage of the dll, or suggest to play with one specific dll mod.
 
Why are some digital era buildings' maintanence ridiculously overpriced (100-300 GPT)? Is that intentional?

Late game economic is under overwork, but the high cost are intentional.
You need the monopoly buildings in the late eras, do get the yield system working right for money and production.
But the correct answer only could give the creator, its not me.
 
1. Playing with Saudi Arabia , their unique building Bazaar should give +2 food at oasis' , but it doesn't as I see.
2. At science texts , the additional trade routes are not written.
EDIT : in vanilla ,engineering gives 1 more trade route, CCTP doesn't.
 
Shoshone are supposed to start with their special scout the Pathfinder but in this mod they start with a warrior. Money making buildings such as market and bank lose their +gold %s, which was added either at g&k or bnw.

IIRC Chrome didnt like %, because it can be very op.
So he removed most of the % yields and restricted it to a less ammount of wonders/buildings and policies with a % value.

For the Shoshonen, thx i will put it on the list, and it will be fixed with the next version.
