Hey again! finally got BNW so looking forward to play some again. Got the last version you put in the downloads thread (from 25th) is this the last?
Not sure if this is a bug or change to BNW or whatever it really is, it just annoys me a bit :P
When starting a new game I tend to go with random leader, and if i don't like it I just clicked the restart game which (if I remember right, I might be wrong :) ) re-rolled both starting location and leader and all the stuff that was random, but now i always get the same leader, but new starting locations. Not really a big deal, just me being lazy and cant decide yet i don't like all xD

EDIT: got a real bug now, somehow i cant scroll in the tech tree, so I'm having a hard time researching what i want if they are too far right in the window
 
I'm having issues with the tech tree not displaying properly past the medieval era, even the drop down list of new techs to choose is blank now so it's impossible for me to progress.

I'm using the latest version from the download link on the forum, tried deleting cache and mode user data and reinstalling the mod. Even then if i start a new game tech tree is still broken :confused:

edit - found the post about techbuttoninclude.lua no idea what to do with it though forum searchs have turned up nothing

The tech tree i mentioned in last post is the same as the one i and some others had a while ago. No techs showing after the first few eras, at least not on the tree. I will continue my current save and see if i can get them just from the list and it being just a graphical bug or if they are gone from there too.

This time it doesn't work on any map types that i have been able to try yet

Also when loading the mods menu i get error:

I have tried activate both the community call to power pack + the BNW fix at the same time, and activate cctpp first then go back to activate the BNW fix, but still get it. can still continue to play though.
 
Strange, can you post me your log files please (XML and LUA).
I removed all older Versions from my mediafire account, so you only can download the last Version.
Also i didnt tried random games, but it can be that this create some Problems, anyway your logs would be very helpfull.

For the unidentiefied style, its a known bug, that is under rework, but will not create any other Problems.

i made a new game, small map on CCTP compatible map with alexander.
saved game then quit to windows. the log files doesnt seem interestign at all though. all that is in them is:

Have you enabled your logging system? Its looks so empty.

Another point could be that another mod you are using/or used, could create problems.
Sometimes the clearing of the userdata and modcache works wonders, when playing with mods that create problems,
If you do this, please only enable CCTP and CCTP BNW, and try it this way.

Yeah, logging was disabled. so i turned it o like there descried. stupid as i was i screwed around with something else as well so ended up deleting the whole my Civ 5 folder in my documents, get a new one up and re-adding the 2 mods - that should make everything clean at least, but i got a huge problem now. If i start a new game with the mods, quickstart with the CCTP compatible map, standard size, I instantly loose the game right away. it seems that i don't get any settler or warrior and it tarts off with processing barbarians turn then after a second i get the loss screen.

Fortunantely i did keep some of the old save files from yesterday, so was able to load my last game and that seems to work just fine. (except i still have the tech tree problem) so i got the log files from loading that and playing a turn.

Hope they are of any help, and also if you know what might be the problem with the instant loose game that would be great. i dont get how stuff worked yesterday but not today xD
And i wish civ would by default go into mod screen with last loaded mods, and also after quitting a game go back to mod menu and not main meny, so much loading/waiting :(
 
I've got it loaded successfully, however I am not sure about building and unit costs in the Digital and Information Eras.

While the Destroyer costs a (reasonable) 810 production, the DDX Destroyer costs 46,574 production. It is similar for all units moving into the two new eras.

The same goes for buildings and wonders. The Advanced Shipyard costs 11,262 production.

Is this right?

As well, my tech tree also looks as it does for Slasky.
 
You both are using the last version, both CCTP and CCTP tweak?

For the logs, its easier when you zip/pack them and attach them to your post.
Also i see errors in your log that i dont have, so the complet log would be very helpfull.

About the cost for late game units, i didt touched them yet, i dont know if this was indeted or not. If some units or buildings cost to much/less, then its just a minor will look into it.

I really don't get my new bug, but i guess ill survive until the next update you make and hope stuff is good then if its in the kind of near future :P
Too bad i don't have the knowledge to help out too much with this.

But iam making good progress, the playtest phase will be near......
*Added new Buildings, Beliefs, Policy Changes, Resolutions and Projects and many other things are bugunted or fixed.

Edit:Since i cant reproduce the buggy techtree when playing the uploaded version, iam asking are you using other mods or have you a older version of cctp installed.
Anyway try clearing your chache and userdate, and tell me if that helped.
 
I wasn't using any old versions, and i tried with a complete new my documents folder. Don't worry though, I'll wait for the release tomorrow and make sure i do everything right then and hope stuff works well :P
 
We know about the late game cost, the problem here its not fully balanced.
IIRC was the balance line a time ago the industrial era.
After the update i hope the cost are better to come by, but remember in CCTP you need more buildings and support for future parts of the mod, even when you start in modern eras.

The problem here is, i didnt played much in later eras, and when then with a complete monopoly system. So that the cost are relative high.
On the long run this will be fixed, but when i start to change the ammonut here and there, i fear i will lose the gaze of all.
So after a long look i think, there was a plan, like the techtree, but i cant tell what was planned.
 
Getting out the new update today? got a boring weekend ahead and i screwed old version to bad:P

Iam in the last bugging phase, should out today, but with some missing text, and some changes here and there. Didnt get time to play much, so its time for playtesting outthere.
 
Hey, great work on new version, love the extra worker + scout on start.
which way/map are you starting? If i try to make quick game with the map named CCTP compatible map i keep getting the instant loose error (it seems i spawn with no units or something and then show loss screen) but when trying small continents or shuffle i can start a game.
i still seem to be having the tech tree issue though. Will try play through the game as long as i can and will keep you updated on any other bugs i might encounter

EDIT: This seems to be only a graphical issue. I don't use the tech tree that often anyway, so it doesn't make the game any less playable for me XD

EDIT2:

Are there any plans to make the lategame actually playable? It's not very fun to play the lategame if there is no possible way I can possibly pay for only a few buildings' maintanance, not to mention the fact that units in the Digital and Information Eras cost tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of hammers to build? Unless there's some REALLY good buildings to help support this, there's no way I'm going to be able to play CCTP past the modern era or so.
