What I mean is that our politicians have a tendency to go in the direction the US points out without thinking "Is this good for us?".

Well, at least your politicians have a tendency.
Each government here first destroys everything its predecessor did, then tries to put in some order. As a result, we ended up with this bastard of Kirchner -elected by 20% of the voters- who says "you at the IMF and WB are all bastards, but I´ll pay you" and he pays them billions of dollars per month; then he comes back and tells the masses that he´s defended our national identity once more! :shakehead

Maybe, maybe, if we have a new government, ´cos, with the present political fragmentaion, we won´t have anybody worthy.
All the decent ones have no votes, the nondecent ones have most of the votes, and I´m 15, so I can´t vote.
