That sounds interesting.

Most of the changes I made were just reducing the gold by 1. For example -5:gold: changed to -4:gold: or -10:gold: changed to -9:gold:. It it was already -1:gold: I left it as it was.

Thank you, that was all I really was asking for. It is still gonna be rough at times but at least now I'll be able to build 5 or 6 libraries( et. al. ) vs 1 or 2.

You should move here, everyone is like that at the moment. The general theory is that we have gone off day light saving and are fast approaching winter. Although it is a great time for wooing women - bright sunny days and cool to cold evenings.:mischief:

OK with this stuff above going on, i changed about 75% of the Prehistoric Era techs around, too many to list, but i need people to see, what is going on and make sure its working correctly, at least for now, thx.

btw, i even encountered that terrible "Black Terrain":mad: again, so let me know, please.
 
Leader Red Cloud gives XML error on startup stating Info Class was incorrect. Rev 2309 (yay, version 23....)

Today's updates:
  • Fixed potential negative research
  • Fixed incorrect assessment of danger when multiple enemy stacks are involved
  • Fixed incorrect assessment of likely outcomes in fights involving large stacks
  • Fixed potential pathing bug (for humans only, but whether using AI pathing or not) that might explain occassional weird paths across water that have been observed
 
Not sure if anyone has reported this but I got this while playing with yesterday's SVN. The city names for the Navajo seem to be goofed up a bit...;)

Navajo Civ Has Errors in City names
ex .TXT_KEY_CITY_NAME_HOPI instead of Hopi

Deleted the Free gatherer in the Controlled Fire tech.
 
Update
- Add unit combat classes for Sea Animals and Diplomats.

Note neither of these have been implemented yet, just getting stuff ready so we can add the promotions and then I can change the Sea Animals and add in the Diplomats. Currently diplomats will be for diplomacy with barbarian cities and goody villages only, you will need the Advance Diplomacy on to build and use these units.

Three techs have TECH_INVENTION as a pre-req. TECH_INVENTION no longer exists.
