Awesome to see there is still so much update activity going on for what's most likely the most comprehensive civ4 mod in existence. Kudos!
Little question here:
Silly old me was playing the 2014 version of the mod until I ran into consistent CTD in the Renaissance era.
Not letting myself be deterred by the loss of 3 rl weeks of gaming (I was playing on marathon, started in prehistory), I downloaded the 37 version, being unaware of the SVN.
Been playing that for the past 3 weeks now, only to discover in the late modern age that air recon and bombing lead to CTD (don't ask me why I didn't find that out sooner haha, I had completely neglected flying units up until now). So yeah, slightly sad.
I am now hoping to update my current savegame to a SVN version, but am a bit worried that so much has changed since the release of v37 that I won't recognize back my cities.
What should I do?
Get the latests version, and probably be completely confused by all changes that have been made affecting my save, get an older SVN that does fix the air thing, but has not as much changes made as the most recent version, or just get the latest version and start anew again?
Any recommendations for a stable SVN version?
Do I really need this turtlemethingie, or can I just get an SVN and put it in my civ folder? I'm not really looking for daily updates, I'm just looking for a version that I can play through until the final era without running into anything gamebreaking.
Thanks for your quick reply!
Downloaded tortoise, and repository. Seems to work like a charm, except for those poor undefined tarantulas that found themselves suddenly deleted from existence.
I'm not sure I'm too happy about my next special person going from 7 or 8 turns to 63 turns until next. xD
Looks like SP spawn rate was nerfed much?
Also, the repository download was only (slighltly less than) 1 Gig. OP says the file is 3.4 Gig, what happened to the other 2.4?

Remove white space from file and path names in Orion's Mine Warfare mod
Just a little doubt.
For tortoise update my C2C do I need to do something or does it automatically check when windows connects and already downloads?
You need to click on the folder and start the update.
Remove spaces from file and path names for the New_Cultures mod
Wow Dh! Thank you!
Removed whitespace from the path and file names for Custom Leaderheads now Custom_Leaderheads
minor restructure of the XML in New_Cultures to make it easier to merge into core
removed a couple of duplicate buttons I missed in my last updates (ie the ones with the space in the names).
FYI - So far this has not required any changes to the PAK files.
BTW one of the changes I did when fixing the white space problem was to remove a "." in the middle of one of the file names in the New_Cultures. This may have been the cause for the CTDs on XP machines.
Recosting for the remainder of buildings in the Religions module.
EDIT: @Dancing Hoskuld : I just took a look at your myths and stories. It's a very interesting structure you have going on there, one that I now understand a bit more having looked at the xml directly. I decided that I'm not going to touch the costing on those because there are a LOT of special extenuating circumstances to them.
However, that said, there are some myths and stories in the core that may be best adapted back into your main module there. Myth of the Bear is one that stands out. And then there are some experimentals that I'm not sure if they align with the methodology on the rest of them or not.
You might want to review the costs to compare them to the charts but they seemed somewhat appropriate. The Stories are overcosted by a bit based on the era, or undercost if they are national wonders perhaps. Anyhow, it's all kinda hovering in the rightish range it seems. Basing that on a proxy tech of the most expensive required buildings since we don't have actual tech prereqs for them (I assume this is to help keep the tech tree help hovers from getting overwhelming.)
