Hi!
Awesome to see there is still so much update activity going on for what's most likely the most comprehensive civ4 mod in existence. Kudos!
Little question here:
Silly old me was playing the 2014 version of the mod until I ran into consistent CTD in the Renaissance era.
Not letting myself be deterred by the loss of 3 rl weeks of gaming (I was playing on marathon, started in prehistory), I downloaded the 37 version, being unaware of the SVN.
Been playing that for the past 3 weeks now, only to discover in the late modern age that air recon and bombing lead to CTD (don't ask me why I didn't find that out sooner haha, I had completely neglected flying units up until now). So yeah, slightly sad.
I am now hoping to update my current savegame to a SVN version, but am a bit worried that so much has changed since the release of v37 that I won't recognize back my cities.
What should I do?
Get the latests version, and probably be completely confused by all changes that have been made affecting my save, get an older SVN that does fix the air thing, but has not as much changes made as the most recent version, or just get the latest version and start anew again?
Any recommendations for a stable SVN version?
Do I really need this turtlemethingie, or can I just get an SVN and put it in my civ folder? I'm not really looking for daily updates, I'm just looking for a version that I can play through until the final era without running into anything gamebreaking.
Thanks!
