Its fine that your helping out MrAzure but you are suppose to get it approved by MrAzure when he returned. No offense but we approved MrAzure to the C2C team, not you guys (yet).

he said the same thing! we are just uploading buttons, he will upload the TechsInfos after he reviews it.

I can ramp up the exposure of C2C PR by myself very quickly but I think that scaling it up, in stages, will help us prepare better to handle it.
I think we all need to get well organized and ready, to keep C2C free and flexible, so that it can continue evolve and become even more amazing without getting slowed down.
Once people discover for themselves that they have overlooked this hidden treasure of a microcosm, I am pretty certain that they will have trouble staying away.

I predict that since C2C is already such a uniquely good experience with such great promise, that the tipping point can't help but being relatively close by.


If you agree and want to see C2C become everything that Civilization could be, don't keep quiet. Spread the word!
The ONE thing you can do to help is to talk about outside the forums.

If Everybody:
Players, Lurkers, Participators, ModTeam,
would take a quick second to talk about C2C, just 1 x Week,
in social media like reddit, facebook, digg, stumbleupon,
or the Civ V, ROM, AND, or forums on Civfanatics, and elsewhere And/or gaming, history, futurism, design, role-playing, and programming forums,
then C2C will start getting the attention it deserves.

I saw the Ornithopter but not the llamas. Where are they?

EDIT: Found them under the Megafauna. You need to add them to the MLF_CIV4ModularLoadingControls.xml otherwise they will not load.

Doh! Could you please go ahead and fix that? I won't able to fix it until tomorrow.
 
Just pushed to SVN (3080):
  • Fixed modular loading CTD
  • Fixed use of escape to exit military advisor with viewports in use

Cautionary note - not tested since I couldn't reproduce the original issue and I'm currently working so C2C is background

  • Speculative fix for city building free promotion crash (untested)
 
What are the setting for each region? Like what setting makes it South America or Australia or Africa?

South America is Latitude -90 to 0; Longitude -180 to -60
Africa is Latitude -90 to 0; Longitude -60 to 60
Australia is Latitude -90 to 0; Longitude 60 to 180

So South America and Australia is Latitude -90 to 0; Longitude 60 to -60

This is just a place holder until we can get it based on the actual location of continents on the maps. then it will just be region 5 for South America and 6 for Australia.

The same but Latitude 0 to 90, North America/Europe/Asia. It is a very simple representation. Many animals have a much more limited spawn area. For example lemurs will only occur if their spawn area Madagascar has the appropriate terrain (land) and features. That way not all animals will be in all games but the basic ones will be.

This has two entries for BUILD_BONUS_FUR which are identical.

Also Deer was in there twice also.

CIV4UnitInfos.xml
This has two entries for UNIT_TESLA_INFANTRY which are identical except for one tag, the iRequired tag in the UnitMeshGroup (the first one has it set to 3, the second to 2).

Modules\MLF_CIV4ModularLoadingControls.xml
This has Module entries for 2 folders that don't exist: Custom_Buildings and CIVPlayer8.
