C2C SVN Changelog

Thanks! Got it now, as I was originally reading that, I thought it was only for modders.

If any of you would like some help cleaning up the civi/sevo pedia, I would gladly do so as well as find or mention any xml issues.

We welcome all playtesters. We welcome modding assistance as well but do have an apprenticeship program so you'll have to work through one of the team members for a bit before gaining SVN modding access. What pedia issues were you wanting to help us clean up?

- Early forts now can be captured.
- Bear Trainer only allows bear units in the city it was built. Now need Bear Heritage to build them in all cities. Button needs to be done (coming soon).
- Add Bear Story buildings. Buttons need to be done (coming soon) this is mostly so that Faustmouse can see what I am doing with the buildings so he can do some also.

I am going to change all the megafauna trainers back to only allowing their special units built in the one city with a Heritage building at Heritage tech to allow them to be built in all cities. These Heritage buildings are not currently National Wonders but I could easily convert them if people think it is a good idea. The Great hunter can build them.
 
Are the new maps with space terrain in the SVN? I'm trying to figure out whether I have a corrupted installation or they just aren't in there.

- Trench Machine Gun now upgrades to Machine Gun and Light Anti-Air Gun. (again)
- Machine Gun is now at Automatic Weapons tech. (again)

Added Education to some of my buildings.
-> This one was tough, since I think most "Labs" don't really educate people. This would result in a situation that in the modern world, with increasing Pop, obsoleting "old" education buildings and only a few new ones, your civilization gets more and more stupid over time. Except wie somewhat increase Education from purely Education Buildings like schools and therefore remove their :science:. Or at Compulsonary (?) Education Tech there should be a general +XX Education per city.
Also, I think the Civics could use a step in between. Like

Comp. Education -> E-Education -> Rapid learning -> Instant Education -> [Timetravel Education] (What's that btw?)

Don't forget about postgrad education. Most PhDs are by research, done in labs. The game's labs are mostly connected to the uni. But even if they aren't/weren't, I guess postgrad research can be done just as well in labs not per se attached to any uni. (My friend did her PhD research at a 'teaching hospital' only tenuously connected to the uni.)
 
So you suggest that Labs (all?) should get Education as well? I Also thought about it, basically because I'm just here in a lab and doing my Master's Thesis right now :mischief: And my girlfried is studying medicine and therefore has to be in a Hostpital as well, so maybe these should also give education?

How sound 3 Education for Labs?

- The Great Prophet can now construct National Belief (Karma), National Belief (Resurrection) and National Belief (Reincarnation) as well as the Holy Shrine it could build before.

I already added this in my Modul. At least I think so :crazyeye:
 
I believe I have found a bit of what maybe causing a sudden error while saving or an instant close of the program when ending your turn. Someone may have already found this and so I apologize for a duplicate post. I can reproduce the error, how to fix it that's where I'm hoping someone else here can figure out.

The error is anytime a stack is highlighted displaying the information about all the units in a long column, if "saving" while this information is displayed a memory allocation error pops up, if it is still displayed and I hit enter to end the turn, the program immediately closes out. I've tried it a couple times to confirm it does it during that moment, is that the reason? I don't know, but it seems to happen numerous of times.
