Surely a better choice (for intance) would be:
'They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning-hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. [Isaiah 2:4] '
Isn't really about ploughing either. It's just mentioned as part of an analogy.
I have a few suggestions, for quotes which I think aren't really appropriate. I mean, the discovery of Tribalism is supposed to be a good thing, but you get some quote from Ayn Rand telling you have evil it is.
Some suggestions:

The mode of clearing and planting is to fell the trees, and burn once what will burn, then cut them up into suitable lengths, roll into heaps, and burn again; then, with a hoe, plant potatoes where you can come at the ground between the stumps and charred logs; for a first crop the ashes suffice for manure, and no hoeing being necessary the first year. In the fall, cut, roll, and burn again, and so on, till the land is cleared; and soon it is ready for grain, and to be laid down. '' -Henry David Thoreau

I am advanced in years. I do not desire to be taken away,
but I intend to lie by my liege lord, that favourite of men. ''
