There were surely many troops there. At least, if Rome gifted the cities to Egypt (or Macedon, or even AI), these troops would be now safely in Rome defending it. I don't understand the pattern?!? Surely, Carthagian galleys had intercepted any vessel trying to evacuate the island by sea...
 
Umm.. no, I don't think there were more than an old man and his dog and they both fled by a rowboat.. I left them alone.
 
Played and Sent. On the western border of Persian empire everything is silent... for now...
 
Turn played and sent to Persia. Hey, Christmas is coming to the game and Palestine is not Roman! Where is historical accuracy then? I suggest Rome should sent a settler there and try to claim the area! :)
 
Played and Sent to Carthage. Traded Gunpowder from China this turn... fools were using it for fireworks and wanted Republic in return... Upgrading my numidian friends right now...

A shrewd move by the Romans, really. This version of history will blame the Egyptians/Greeks for a "certain Crucifiction".
 
Played and Sent. Everything is silent.Traded some elephants from India this turn... The battle of Guagamela is postponed once again.
 
Everything is pretty silent here as well although I sank a Roman bathtub..

I'll be on a mini-vacation until Friday :)
 
Everything is quiet. Traded some nukes :nuke: from Pakistan this turn... We had no idea what to do with them so placed one in every city near Courthouse. I hope they will boost our defense and our enemies will surrender in fear right away or at least will run away from our borders and pay us huge reparations or else...
 
Turn played and shiped to Carthage. Goths are no more. So Rome now will be able to concentrate on its neighbours ;)
