Can you identify what these world maps represent?

Ok, I've got one:

Jews before WW2 in bold?

Out of total population not in bold.
Woaw. There are two amazing things I can immediately spot with that map. First, Germay was twice more populated than France before ww2 (today, the gap is only of 20 million people). Second, France is today the country in Europe with the largest Jewish religious community (even ahead of Russia).

Here's another one:
Canadian citizens density?

EDIT: Forget about it. It doesn't fit. Alberta has nowhere near the same population density as British Columbia... and there are probably more Canadians in California than Kentucky.

Um - from memory, the population listed for Germany looks a bit too high,
I am wondering if the 79 M includes Austria e.g. after the Anschluss.

I shall search on the Internet.

No, it was ~80M, before the Anschluss. Keep in mind 'Germany' convered a larger area then, than it does now (after it's territory was cut down to size, post-war).

Plus, Austria is on the map - about 6.7M, as you can see. Sudetenland added ~3M more, btw.
