Canada Wins!!!!

Ok, it's not easy being a Swede these days. It was not as embarasing to watch sweden lose to belarus as it was to see canada whip them in the semis. But anyway, congrats to your victory. But since I am half-norwegian I can taunt anyone I want after the winter olympics. If you compare Norways population of ca 5 mil to the number of medals they won, you will see who the BIG winner of this (and all other) winter olympics is

GO NORWAY!!

(btw, sweden scored 0 golds as per usual, I'm thinking of moving back to norway in time for the next winter olympics)

Norway won 11 golds, 7 silvers and 6 bronzes for a total of 24 medals compared to Canada's 6 golds, 3 silvers and 8 bronzes for a total of 17. Norway really kicked some arses (as they usually do), they truly are a nation of athletes. Having so much medals for so little population is a great achievement. Congrats.

While were at it, we could do a study on medals based upon snowfall or average temperature. Perhaps even days below freezing, or # of ski slopes.

Australia and Spain look pretty good in these categories.

Kudos to all the nations that competed, we were glad to have you.

That's pretty awesome!!!

In that case, you could relish your curling victory over us. That one really hurt, both the Norgies and Swedes played stong against us. We barely beat Sweden in the semis, and Norway took it away.
