When captain2 and i were deciding to make this game we split the work into two i would handle the mape making and forming each country and he would make the rule's however he screwed up big time he left out everything that is important and only focused on certain thing's so i am today going to clear thing's up once and for all
nation's
each player gets a nation
the player get's to choose the form of goverment. Some goverment's may have certain stregth's and wekness depemding on the form of ruling.
Unit's
Every country will have there own soldier,Tank,airplane,ship
soldier has 2 attack and 1 deffence
tank's have 2 attack 3 deffence
airplane have 4 attack 2 deffence
ship has 4 attack and 3 defffence
(certain factor's may appliy such as location and unit vs unit)
Factory's
for ever factory produce's on your choosing of one of these
3 soldier's
1 tank 1 soldier
1 plane
1 ship
there is a max of 5 factory's due to if the map fill's up to fast
factory's may be taken if the land is invaded factory's may be bombed
upkeep
if a army get to be a larger size it will take more to keep it going.
10 army units= you have one less infantry per turn
20=two less
30=three less
Moral
again depending on youre for of goverment some moral will be harder to maintain
the following makes you loose morale points:
-2 if you declare war
-2 if you lose a large part of army in a battle
-6 if you surrender to your enemy
However you will gain +1 moral each turn you are in peace
you can gain +2 moral if you win a war or large battle. the moral scale go's from 1-10 if the moral stay's low for too long you may have a revolution which in this case you lose half of your army. the moral will be posted on your stat's that i will update every two day's

i will update the map every two day's in this time you can send private message's to me(recomemded) or captain2. the map is not just one map of the world but rather 6 map's of contenat's to help zoom to your country. moving from contenat to an other there will be an period were 1 turn to load one turn to get across and one turn to unload you unit's.
if there is any question's that i have forgot which i hope i got all of them please ask. as well i am sorry for any confusion that may have happend and a special thank's to RoddyVR for bringing this to my attention

Canuck I welcome the idea that you guys are seriously interested in the NES forum and want to do your own game. I (as Roddy) also think that you should read some boardgames on this forum and finalise the rules. When you do that, post a map and some info about the period you picked people will be more interested.

having not seen a map i dont know if it'll have territory bordes, or just nation borders or any borders at all, but....
how far can a unit go in a turn (assuming there are turns).
if russia had an infantry that defended against china last turn (and survived) can that same infantry attack poland on the next turn? (can it cross russia that fast).
if france has more army then germany and poland combined, can france attack germany with all its forces and after wiping them out continue the attack to poland (all in one turn).
so as i understand this game is pure military might. no economy as such (other then factories which cost military anyway so its still just military). that sure gets rid of a whole slew of questions.
but i can still come up with more. especialy once i see the map.

a unit can go as far as needed but unless you need to cross contents, no forces can attack more than once so they would be stopped at germany

btw it would be impossible to pick any period because you get to pick a country and then choose the leader from any period, so if i wanted as leader of the USSR i could pick Stalin 3000! but no i picked gorby

The Kurds man, and I believe an anarchic state with much violence is better then a police state which proffesionalizes in terror against it's own population and it's neighbors. (never a big exporter of international terrorism)
So I never supported the war because of that wussy belief in 'oooh Saddam has WMD's we must DEFEND ourselves' Bush obviously ordered the war to aquire american interests, strengthen region ties and whattinot but more importantly a cruel dictator was overthrown and perhaps something better may emerge.

Really, I don't support Bush anymore; his dire incompetence has convinced me the icky-beliefs, triple-moralistic left side is preferable to republican reign; there's a limit to how much one should be allowed to screw up your country; even if you're against abortion and wish to protect the holy union of man and wife (hey, I don't mind non-Christian marriages between same-sex couples). That AND the Outland strips seem to point towards something of a goose hunt at homosexuals, completely unwarrented, we're supposed to show them the right way, not hunt them out and about ... *sigh* sometimes I wonder if certain Republicans read the bible. Sorethumbs is a great webcomic!

why would you post somewhere saying you wont join a game? its counter productive, i could post in all the other NES's saying i wont play them, but it would be pointless. but this is a typically war based game with a reinforced peace, war is the main goal but we make it so its not just one huge uncivilized war
