*miffed* -_-
I was sorry that I had to leave your NES. That's what I meant by 'regretteably'. I'm experimenting with language.

+++ the fact that I did actually still want to play the game. I simply wouldn't be able to enjoy the game with Canada posing a major military challenge for the US to overcome. It's too unrealistic for my taste to use a real world map and set the strength levels to 0-1.
You seem to have a little problem with players talking back at you.

Red Washington? How would the Chinese attack the USA? Their Ming submarines are hardly capable of defeating the US navy and airforce. The decrepid Russian navy wouldn't be able to cross the Atlantic before sinking to it's watery depths. And how would they ferry their troops? I am assuming that they do not have allies in Americas, but even so: nothing in the Americas can challenge the US on their home ground and the Russian and Chinese navies are laughable compared to the US. The USA would not be able to win a conventional war against Russia and China on their home ground but there is absolutely no chance modern Russia and China would be able to invade the US. Was isn't just about how many zillion men you can conscript.
If China, Russia and the US were nations bordering each other on the same continent with only flat plains in between then I'd agree with you that a Chinese-Russian victory may be realistic.
The only way to make Washington red is to win a nuke-out and station troops there in the unlikely event that Earth survives the war and the core elements of Russia and China are spared. Not that anyone would care much by then.

PS. You'll disappoint your players if you just drop the game suddenly like a dead lemming. Less people will want to join any future attempt.
PPS. In my experience, the closed games at Nationstates are best and the funny ones of course, the ones with humor.
