Capto Iugulum: 1920 - 1939

We are disappointed Burgundy has caved to the rebels; the United Kingdom will not do the same.

Treaty of Gabon

1. Gabon will allow French businessmen to retain property rights in Gabon.

2. In exchange, Burgundy will guarantee the independence of Gabon and pledge to protect it from predatory nations

Signed,

Emperor Joseph II
Chancellor Alexander Hollande
Commander Charles De Gaulle

Gabon signs the treaty with Burgundy.

As Occitania helped mediate the treaty with Poitou, without whom this treaty would never have happened, Occitania congratulates Gabon and Burgundy on a lasting and cordial resolution. Occitania recognizes Gabon as an independent state for their willingness to work with Burgundy and French businessmen.

You are all absolutely terrible at genocide and colonialism. Carpet bomb them if you have to. :p

@milarqui: there's no such place as Dominica.

I should also probably mention that in putting up the updates onto the wiki I discovered that the Balompie World Cup was started in 1916 by Germany, and was held every two years since then. Just didn't care enough to put them in the updates back then.

BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURN MILARQUI, such a BUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRN

OOC: The irony is amazing. :p

Now that you are formally recognized as a nation by your former colonial masters, Germany formally recognizes you as well and opens diplomatic relations with your nation. We congratulate both parties on this peaceful resolution to a common problem, regardless of whether or not any particular nations agrees with the outcome, and hope that the new state of Gabon finds its place in this word.

Can we say that, after the many wars in there, there were no more BWC's until I cared to revive the idea?

WEEE OOOH WEEE OOOOOH WEEEE OOOOH Sir! We need to get this victim to the burn center right away!

Yeah, I think we can safely assume they were cancelled c. 1922 due to the Rhine-Rhone War. Just saying, there were some before.

I could imagine South and Central America soldiering on considering how many teams made the Cup~

Occitania proudly invites Corsica and Sardinia to sign the Grenoble Pact, on behalf of its members and Germany who have agreed to allow your respective nations entrance. Please feel free to sign the Pact's main document.

Sardinia and Corsic hereby sign onto the Grenoble Pact.

This is the 48 hour warning to get those orders in. Now I do intend on this one being fairly speedy, so do your best to get them in before the first deadline!

Much as I hate to leave you in the lurch, I cannot find the interest in continuing to play this NES. Even if I have left Spain about to host the 1934 Balompié World Cup, with a rebellion in Central Africa and expecting the possibility of a big war in which certain injustices may be reverted (not to mention that I'll be leaving you without knowing the content of Parts II and III of "Los Seis Cruzados", although I can bet no one will even miss those), I don't find myself with the interest to keep playing.

It's not an insult towards anyone, much less EQ, who I have to say I admire for his ability to spin these huge updates that touch everything around. It's just me.

Thus, unless I say so otherwise (who knows, maybe I'll manage to get my bearings back at some point in the future), I am dropping from this NES, and Spain is free for the taking. I just expect that, if a player picks Spain in the future, that they do their best to fully bring the nation towards greatness. I might be willing to send ideas if you guys ask, but, officially, I'm not playing.

Mein.

OOC:
My fellow Moralists, I'm pleased to tell you today that I've signed legislation that will outlaw Proletarism forever. We begin bombing in five minutes. ;)

@Terrence: Only counts if you send in orders. :p
