Do you guys ever get the temptation - and is it worth it - to capture old greek cities with old wonders in them with the 'wrong' civs, like portugal? I'm playing a game from 3000bc now where greece collapsed just a few turns after my spawn as Portugal, leaving rome, sparta and athens with plenty of wonders, sparta in particular with the G lib and leaning tower looks juicy. But Im afraid it will create conflict with future turks and with the germans among others, and possibly drive my stability down so greece will respawn later...

What's your take on this?

Personally i wouldn't be afraid of other civs as long as they are not your enemies. But that's true that you need quite a stable country to be able to keep all this greece/rome
