CBP Events and Decisions Compatibility

About 50 turns before my last long game started crashing to the desktop I stopped getting any events. 15 cities...but no events. Since then I've played 85 turns of one game and 25 of two others...no events, other than the event when a city is founded.

So I've been trying to figure out what went awry. Earlier today I deleted my civ 5 folder in its entirety, reinstalling the basic game right now. Just making sure there isn't some small, stupid mistake I'm making that brought this on.

I was just about to post this on the Github. Finished my 9/30 game and the only events I got all game were City founding, MonstrousBeast, and Mercenary

Could be really simple if you could just enable database logging and post the lua.log and database.log when the crash occurs again.

nb: from what I understand this is not really an UU, because there is no override, it's the common unit of a new class. Now is there a way to exclude this class from the barbarian selection pool?

I think this is true actually. For reasons I don't get, I think Gazebo removed normal uniques from the barbarian pool I believe. The only ones I get now are Ballistas, Companions, Cataphracts, Longbows, and Comanche. ie your units. This thing about them I guess being unit classes makes sense as a reason too. Didn't happen to get the hakka or the um, the um Turkish one. Now, I don't at all understand why Gazebo removed UUs from barbarians, so I see bringing a few back as a feature of this mod not a drawback. :)

How would I enable database logging?

In My Games/Civ 5, there's a file called config.ini. Search for logging and you should find it. Google if not.

Well, my problem is definitely with this modmod. I just ran with (7) enabled and this disabled and events fired normally.

EDIT: scratch that, still busted.

I'm confused. Should I use both (7) and (8) with CBO or just (8)?

EDIT: NVM, dependencies.

Any quickfix for Cataphracts at 7 turn? I'm starting 4th game and still the same :( No any way to counter it.

Edit: Heh, without fix, I finally got some luck, got Warrior->Spearman upgrade from ruins, went for Authority and can beat them while fortifying on hills.
Edit2: Barbarian Camps just spawn them, even if they're not near horses resource.
The newest VP (full), CBO E&D and Community Patch Mod Compatibility, Leadership Reformation, World Congress Reformation, JFD's CultDiv, ExCE, Events Comp.

I found that Raise the Theodosian Wall decision can be enacted without researching Masonry indicated as prereq tech.

In CBO, TECH_MASONRY is actually not Masonry, its Construction. Don't know that decision specific, but given normal Walls are on Construction, its prob just a text error.

Interesting.. I'll add this onto version 14 later on...

Whichever this is a hotfix below. I have to be out so version 14 won't be released for a while anyway.

Screens?

I'm aware of this issue a few months ago, but it seems to have popped up again. The effects should nonetheless still apply and work.

Nope.

There is if you removed all of the CSD's connections to the mod, but I can't put it to me head on how many there are anymore.

Is this event about omens and the end of the world this mods work or VP? Just want to know so I can post an opinion to the right section.

You can usually distinguish events from authors based on their penmanship.
I mostly used [ICON_BULLET] or bulletpoints to display as yields.
hokath tends to use most of roleplaying examples.. *walks toward the advisor and tells him we need to make Germany strong again.
JFD tends to use Lua-scripted so if an event seems familiar, yet different due to a random text script providing the same effects it's probably him.
If it seems to be none of the above, assume Gazebo.

But yes Omens is mine. Enter Renaissance Era and you get Golden Age Points, get event before renaissance era and you lose golden age points along with turn of revolution.

In my last game I encountered one weird behaviour, nearly every time a city-state was giving me an unit it was a copy of an UU normally unlocked by decisions. I have been allied with 2 military CS and I got: 5 Mandekalu, 2 Companion, 1 Horseman and 3 Ballista when their associated unique units were Panzer and Winged hussard.
I also noticed quite a few Companion and Mandekalu (2 to 4) present in the armies of other civs. Is there a way to prevent your new units to be gifted by CS (and/or maybe not spawned by barbarians)
