Just another programming glitch, together with artillery, submarines and heaven knows how many.
 
Ok so after many many hours i finally got to the industrial era. I noticed that from the industrial era through the modern era all the technologies say 'Cannot be traded'. Is this a glitch or is it like that for a reason? are they unlockable?

I love playing diplomacy mode and if i cant trade technologies it doesnt feel right to me :/. Im not a warmongrel lol, and being unable to trade techs at all takes away half my fun :( Did i miss something?

CCM can be played with 31 civs and, compared to standard C3C, many more of them reach the industrrial era when almost all of them will have contact with each other. If a tech is researched,1 or two turns later all other civs will have that tech, too. Additionally turntimes become longer cause of all these trading calculations and the end of the techtree is reached much too early. That´s why I stopped techtrading when reaching that phase of the game. These techs still can be stolen, but in that case you risk a world war when mutual protection pacts are available.
 
Ahhhh i see. Do you know if the AI is any good at stealing technology? I always get the warning about a foreign spy trying to steal my maps but not my tech.

The AI tries to steal techs and military plans (the last one is some kind of nonsense). In the current version of the CCM biq the AI only is allowed to do "stealing operations" when beeing in peace with tht civ.
 
Now it looks like the whole Folder with Dunkerque in Units is missing.
Also Kongo class (WW2) looks to be out.

I assume one can copy the files from SOE, with a little doctoring on the folder-names AND the ini files within.

That´s F018 Dunkerque class AND J013 IJN Kongo Class from SOEs units.
Just rename those folders to
Dunkerque class AND Kongo Class (WW II)
Then rename ini files within to the same names.

Yes, you are correct, these unit folders are missing - and the folder for Erzherzog Karl Class, too. :gripe: I made a cheque of the units added in a hurry to my old CCM 1.8 biq. Also the German old predreadnought named as Brandenburg Class in reality shows the Braunschweig Class. The original Brandenburg Class is also in the mainfile, but renamed as Brandenburg Class-Tom2050. I frequently used this methode to test new published units in gameplay, but here I forgot to rename that unit after the test. As posted above, I cannot see these errors when playing that scenario, as all these errors are fixed by my heavily enlarged C3C mainfile, that is coming with the next Version of CCM.

I will do a quick patch for the missing units very soon and inform you, when the patch is available.

Yes that is possible. I took these units from the SOE Scenario - but the Erzherog Karl Class must be added too and that ship isn´t in SOE.

SOE (Storm Over Europe) is a gigantic scenario about WW II. You can find the thread at CFC here: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=454785

Due to the closing of the SOC-Server, at present this scenario cannot be downloaded. It will be available again in a reworked version at CivForum.de when I have the time for it. As the screenshots of this thread all were linked to the SOC-Server, at present there are no visible screenshots in that thread.

With all the great ships from Delta_strife over the last years or so we got a lot of flavor units, but I believe you will put them in with that bigger update in the future.

Yes, this is the ship :). It is not necessairy to fiddle around with these ships, as the patch to add the three ships will come today.

Yes, this is an error in the CCM v1.8 biq. I also received that hint at CivForum.de. I experimented with "army-settlers" in CCM some time ago and for the african settler I forgot to switch back the army-flag to the king-flag. So The african civs in that version of the biq at present have an -not wanted -advantage, as they can build settlers from the start, so they are also heavily restricted by the army-flag and the demanding settings for armies in CCM. I wanted to hear, if there comes more about errors in that biq before I fix it (what isn´t a big problem, but I don´t want to have too much versions of that biq in public).

The Eagle Warrior and Mullah are checked to enslave, but a unit has not been chosen to enslave to. I haven't read every post here, so sorry if this has already been reported.
 
Great mod really it is awesome, one question though why do some civ's randomly attack without a declaration of war and take cities/kill?
