so far i have, mine, Holptite Joe, Textric, Civ'ed, Tommorows Dawn, Omega124, RedSpy, Celticfury, General Olaf, Dumanios, Yoshi, and SouthernKing
 
Didn't get the art to work? I guess that's ok...

I don't know much about UU's, but is using a land model (such as a warrior) possible for a sea-faring unit? (Just the art)
 
i dont know how to do the art, but i can try
and yeah, you can put a land model on the ocean, it'll just look like someone walking on water (i was a little confused and i thought you made a mistake anyway)

With all due respect, your UU's were hugely overpowered and although i know you don't have the best start in the scenario that is a map making issue and does not effect your UU's. Inohtep is spending his own time to make your UU's and UB's as well as making them balanced. although suggesting how you would like your UU's more fit what you would like being rude about it isn't helping anyone.

The bottom lines is I suggest either you do it your self or try to be a lot more polite.

when i mean balanced, i use the UUs of civ4 as a base. Have you ever seen a UU with a 100%bonus against anything? So i gave it 2 City Raider (55% vrs cities), and even better, they stick with the unit forever, even if you upgrade it.
also, I can't make it 100% vrs units with the fortify bonus, so vrs cities is all i can do

sorry man but to me that seems overpowered
 
CR I and II is both more balanced, and better than a flat +100% Bonus vs. cities.

You can have CR I and II Mech Infantries with the first choice.
 
what do you want? (sorry if im being annoying)
remember that i can't make a bonus vrs. a unit that has a garrison (the button with the shield right?)
 
I am annnouncing...MY RETURN TO CFC!!! this has been a long time coming for many of you :D

anyway, I'd like to first of all thank Yoshi, inohotep, Duke, and any others that have helped work on this mod. Youve done a great job so far (at least as far as i can see, MegaUpload was screwing with me. Ill try downloading again tomorrow)

OK. First of all, I need to know what all has been done.

I suggest that we finish this mod like this:

1st: Add all 18/19 civs to the mod. This is just using what we have, without adding any extra things. What were doing now, basically.
2nd: This is where we can further customize our civs, adding art for our UUs and UBs, adding diplo music and sounds, adding diplo text, stuff like that.
3rd: Add extra (MOARCAT!!!) crap to the mod, like extra non-unique units and buildings and extra religions, corporations, etc.
4th: Add more user civs to the original 18/19.

I will be visiting family in England for 10 days after I leave on Saturday, then I come back and have to go to a wedding in New Jersey, so I wont be doing much modding the next couple of weeks. After I come back I can really start helping out.

Any thoughts/suggestions/comments/questions?
 
SK is back!!! Yay!!! Now you must change your avatar to a parrot, because monkey's are so last season :D

(Regarding the second point, the diplomacy music is done for the base civ's, so they are included in the first point)
