Currently some XML Errors appear when i try to run the mod, i do not know if it happens with you guys but...

"Tag: ISLAM in Info class was incorrect

so it looks like something is messed up in civedistan...the game still opens tough, i will start some games and see if Civedistan will bug the game or something like that.

plus i cannot make GEM map work, damn, guess importing it from RoM was a bad idea...tomorrow when i have more time i will try to pick from the GEM mod and make some edits, i guess it's the RoM resources :hammer2: if it is that then it was pretty obvious


oh, about the leaders...some fixings need to be done, know that small icon? that one, with a small photo of the leader...well :
Civ'ed icon is Catherine
Elle icon is also Catherine

(wow, two catherines in Africa? that's going to get hot)
 
The XML error's are intentional. They currently list Civ'ed's UU and UB, which arn't in the mod. I was just lazy to change them to a default because I took the XML from the one Civ'ed posted. It doesn't affect anything.

The ISLAM one was my fault. I forgot to fix it before I zipped the file. I'll fix it for the next version, but Civ'ed won't have a Favourite religion for the moment.

@TD: :lol:, that's awesome. If I actually did that by accident, I'm awesome. If the music actually came from a city...well...it's still awesome :D
 
Yoshi, i saw in every testgame that my AI loves to waste production with scouts and more scouts, seriously, my AI keeps spamming endless waves of scouts, when with a lot of barbs near it he could build units and do some barb conquering (well, he built the great wall, but these cities should be conquered :()
i have to ask, it is possible to add more than 2 flavours?
oh, can you change the Republic government civic? make it Constitutional Monarchy and change regular Monarchy to Feudal Monarchy? with a democracy civic it's pretty pointless to have a republic civic instead of say, a Constitutional Monarchy civic. just a name change :)

and lol, it seems every turn i get something "error in begingameturn blablablabla" in the log, in 0.3 i never got this?

WARNING : I edited almost nothing, just added a mountain in Yoshi position and changed the position of some of his resources ( plus added a fish resource and destroyed some jungles, adding more jungles in the north).
this was just a testgame for the lulz, mostly to see how would Austria, Stut and China be like. this is not the map we will use when we have 18+ civs
 
It's very possible to add more than two flavours. I proved this by sneaking in a third flavour for my leader...in secret :D

I never changed anything in the game log. Have you tried running the Civ4 Launcher as an Administrator? I find that helps the log errors, but I haven't found a problem with the log errors. Neoteric World get's them sometimes.

And I can't explain the scout spam. Scouts are related to the growth flavour, by the way :D
 
Oh, and something else about your flavours. You said that he completed the Great Wall? That's probably from your Production flavour. Feeling safe with the wall, your Civ probably chose scouts because of a lack of military flavour

btw, what is the standart flavour like? 5? or just 0?

Yoshi, what's the default flavour? 1?

what's the Science one do? focus on scientific buildings? because if so it's exacly like my strategies :D
I will start to experiment changing the flavours on my own to see which one would be better. Then i will post the ones i want :)

oh Yoshi, where's your growth flavour? i think that could help your AI? just a theory, because i think growth would also mean maritime civ? that would mean your AI would like to settle islands and build ships?

EDIT : Damn, that theme is so much full of win, i don't know how i haven't commented when you guys added it. it would be a perfect war diplo music to modern/future eras if it wasn't the theme. :p

EDIT 2 : LOL! was going to play a hands-off game with Portugal in Hawaii in RFC Clean with the civs in their location, wonder where i start? yea, Lisbon. random craziness

Also i always have a problem when i change to the mod via the mod menu, it never opens, i always end up needing to open a map to get to the mod

I do have a little bit of growth flavour, although I refrain from making my flavours higher than "7" :p
