@Dhoom: I voted during the last game after someone messed up the poll settings on the initial thread (which I also voted on). I didn't scam anyone. I can't prove this since I don't have a tool that would tell me when I voted, but I'd swear with my hand on the Bible that I voted at the same time I began posting in the last thread. So unless you took that picture at the very beginning of the last game, I would be on that list unless you removed me.

I refuse your options Dhoom as they fail to take any upvotes into account and are based on what I see as false evidence. I'll remove myself from the list, just to end this affair, but I will continue to vote and will keep my votes since I maintain that I was on the list before at least some of the people on the list now.

You guys have completed missed the point.

As I made clear in my message, the timing of when the player voted to join the game hardly matters since NickyJ allowed the player in.

The main complaint is that a player voted with the power of a player while FIVE TIMES quoting the list and intentionally not pointing out that their name was missing from the list. It took another player to point out to this fact. That's the dishonesty issue that really matters.

The player in question had the opportunity to say that they misunderstood how the game worked. The player had the perfect opportunity to allow the votes to be discounted as they have been in the past, allowing the issue to be a misunderstanding of the voting power of a non-player, thereby claiming that the player incorrectly thought that they had 3 times the voting power than they otherwise had.

Instead, the player chose to make a big stink about the issue by insisting that all of their "invalid votes" count. Note that that terminology is not mine--it's GamezRule's and Mise's terminology.

What's clear is that the player in question is dancing around the issue, as the player has now removed himself from the game and should therefore only have the voting power of a non-player.

In Game 6, a different player attempted to pull the same trick that this player has now pulled: removing their name from potential elimination and then still voting at full power. Multiple players said that that particular player was cheating by doing so.

So, now we have a player who admits that they did not make a mistake in voting with the power of a participant while quoting a list and not reporting that their name was missing from it for a full 5 votes. On top of that, we have a player who has removed themselves from contention and still wants to vote with full voting power.

You can't have it both ways. Either your name is up for elimination or you don't get the full voting power. Make the choice between those two instead of trying to do the same thing that the player in Game 6 did when they were repeatedly accused of cheating for having done it.
