Ok, as promised here is the rule.

Odd dates:
Start from the top of the list. Add together the day of the month and the person on the top of the list's score and divide by 2. Count that number of names down, if the bottom of the list is reached start counting back up the list. That's my upvote.
Downvote: Same thing, except use the score from the bottom of the list and the number of the month. Still from the top.
Even dates:
Same as odd dates, except start counting from the bottom of the list.
14th of the month:
Downvote starts from the top of the list. 14th is my birthdate, so I used it in my rule
