This week should be ... interesting given that some of the early results will determine if some of the late games mean anything.

Huh?

Patriots and Texans both play early. Chargers and Chiefs both play late games. Steelers and Ravens both play late games. Rams and Bears both play late games. Eagles, Vikings, and Squawks all play late games. The night game is the Colts and Titans pre-playoff playoff game, and the only thing the early games can do to that is turn it into a division championship pre-playoff game if the Texans lose. Looks like they did a pretty good job of making scoreboard watching a real time event.

I heard they moved the Rams - Bears game from late to early... If that's true (I haven't checked) I don't know if this was done intentionally by the league to prevent the Rams from being able to basically take a game off depending on the results of other games, but regardless it seems like it would enhance the entertainment value of the games.

You're right but it's the other way around, Bears/Vikings was slated to be a 1 o'clock game but they moved it to 4:25 to line up with Rams/Cards. They also moved Ravens/Browns as well, presumably for the same reason.
