I have determined that the perfect Audiosurf track is "Marta's Dance and the Russian Dervish", from the Riverdance soundtrack.
Well how was I supposed to know!?

Also, which of the 12 Masadas are you?
This one. You can also find him through my friends list.

I signed up yesterday in order to snatch up the entire XCom compilation for 4,95€! :D
If they make a similar deal for TF2, i might consider getting that, too.

Please, please get TF2 and join us Till. The opportunity to shoot at you, even in a virtual world, would be a dream come true :please:

Sadly you missed the x-mas sale. TF2 was only $10 then.

So L4D would be cheaper if I bought it during that sale?

Meh, I'd rather haul my butt over to a game store and buy the game upfront. At least I get a box (as well as getting my butt out of the house).

There is absolutely no point in getting a box. Who cares if you have a box? I don't.

The only advantage I can see is that you won't have to wait as long for the game to install. But you probably will still have to update your crap, which will take a long time too.

Yeah I prefer buying VALVe games off Steam, plus the horsehockey boxes they use are big huge solid unfoldable plastic things.

Although The Orange Box had to be bought :p

Also yes L4D would have been cheaper during the sale.

But the store charges tax. :p
Does it look like I care about sales taxes?! Taxes are a fact of life.

I dont mind buying games that are worth around US$10.00 (almost to an equivelent to buying an entire album on iTunes), however, I am not that keen on paying US$49.99 on a debit card over the internets.

I guess thats my punishment for having procrastination :p.

And the difference is?

Not sure where else t put this, but since it has to do with steam and games I'll put it here

Anyone here bought the X-Com games off of steam? I'm thinking of doing it but I want to know how well they run on newer computers, and how much optimizing I would need to do to get them to run well

And the difference is?
Well, I don't want to have some hacker get their grubby hands on my debit card #. In actuality there is no difference regardless if I get a 9.99 or a 49.99, its just that I am not comfortable footing that large amount of money across the internet.

Nothing's going to happen to it on it's way, wether it's 1 cent or a million dollars. It is just as likely your bank or an ATM machine or a store could have your information stolen, if not more likely (unless you have like a keylogger on your computer).

And yet, he knows that, and doesn't feel comfortable anyway. Personal preference.

Well, with all the hype about identity theft and stolen credit cards, it's gotten me a bit paranoid and cautious when dealing with online shopping.

I've only ever bought from Steam, Amazon and NCIX and havn't had a problem. It doesn't hurt to be careful, but you're just as likely to lose it from a store or atm.
I see, so I guess it wont hurt to buy L4D (along with HL:S) via steam. To be honest, I dont want more boxes stacked around the bookshelf (or the floor). May have to do that.
