CFC Weight Loss Pact

I hope your hands get better soon. I have to say though that HIIT really is a very effective weight burner, most of my weight loss was due to my taking it up the last 2 months.

Nah, I don't mind.

I've put on about 7kg of muscle in the past year, I'll be happy if I can do the same over the next year.

Im trying to put on weight, its not really working
im about 5'10 and weigh 61kg +/- 1kg, i wanna get upto 70kg, having 4 meals a day, and condensed milk isnt working :(

Have you tried eating more? ;)

I generally do 3 solid meals, a whey powder shake after I lift, and then random other food throughout the day.

You should also be alternating your lifting every 4-6 weeks with either different exercises, different amounts of sets, etc. Make sure not to neglect high weights/low reps/low sets. For most of my lifting, I stick to only 1 warmup set and 1 full weight set.

And limit your cardio to something reasonable if you're trying to put on weight. This is probably an area where I could improve, as I play a load of cardio intensive sports for fun, but I'm still happy with my progress.
By reasonable, I'd say 20 minutes per day of hard cardio is fine.

I haven't weighted my self yet, but .....
I just lost a bunch of weight in jail.

The food was awful :(

It wasn't a Mexican jail, right?

You always seemed like such a nice guy. Who would have thought you were a bad seed :/

No it was county :(

Though I am thinking about going off to mexico for a year or so when I gather my money :)

Is this still on? I dont wanna jump into something that has become inactive.

i cut off almost all my hair, lost 4 pounds that i need to gain back. any advice?

I think the title should be renamed to CFC weight pact, as some people may be trying to put on weight, and feel discriminated against :mischief:

Well it more about getting in shape, than necessarily about losing weight. Since I cannot do my normal exercises I am doing some personal training sessions that do not require weights, which means mostly aerobic stuff, which is something I need to work on. Losing weight is a side benefit of getting fit, which is my main goal.

Edit. Right now I weight 96kgs, which is not good, but much better than before, so some where between 80 and 85 KG's would be good for me.

I think I'm about 82 kg at the moment (and about 190 cm). I wouldn't mind losing 5 or so kilos, though I'm not really too concerned about my present weight. I used to be about 96 kg, then lost about 24 kg in my first year of uni. Quite amazing really, the only differences in my routine from high school were that I had to walk each day to classes, and that I didn't have snacks for morning tea / afternoon tea (too costly as a poor student).

Gained some of it back since then of course, but not too much. I'm still walking to uni, but I can now afford to buy the odd snacks - hence the extra padding. ;) Amazing really, how simply you can trace the cause and effect. For me, it seems:

No exercise / snacks = ~95 kg
Exercise / snacks = ~85 kg
Exercise / no snacks = ~75 kg

Maybe I'll cut out the snacks again for a few weeks. Getting under 80 kg again would be nice. Plus, saves on shopping costs. :)

Put me down for 55. I am close to 265 lbs right now. I used to weigh 190lbs when I wrestled in highschool.

Mind you, I was anorexic/bulimic and only ate 3-4 meals a week, while working out 14-20 hours a week. So I want to get down to around 210.

And if I am successful, I might post some before and after pics, or make some sort of picture journal chronicling my progress.

I might be quite a bit late on this one. I really need to get back into shape. I think I have gained weight since my old job decided to place me in oddball hours of the day. Though now that I am unemployed, I need something to get me out of the house other than to feel sorry for myself.

I don't know how realistic my expectations are, but I would like to lose somewhere between 15-25lbs
