The ABC late-night host’s remarks constituted “the sickest conduct possible,” FCC chair Brendan Carr told right-wing podcaster Benny Johnson on Wednesday. Carr suggested his FCC could move to revoke ABC affiliate licenses as a way to force Disney to punish Kimmel.

“We can do this the easy way or the hard way,” Carr said. “These companies can find ways to change conduct and take actions on Kimmel, or there’s going to be additional work for the FCC ahead.”

The shooter has said he killed Kirk because he hated Kirk's views and an opportunity presented itself. Tyler was not a left wing radical. He was a kid with a gun who felt threatened by Kirk's hatred of all things left of Christian Nationalism. Trump, Maga, Christian Nationalists and the GOP all support and endorse fascist ideas and have been trying to grant Trump the powers used/needed by right wing (fascist) dictators around the world and that we have seen in the past 100 years. If you have undertaken a review of how fascist dictators come to power, you would see the steps they use and how Trump is emulating those same steps in his second term. Kirk's killing is an incident that is being exploited by the far right in the US to silence opposition (speech) to Trump's demand for more power.

There are more aspects to 'fascism' than just being right wing.
Shutting up the opposition with violence is a key aspect - that's why shooting someone in the neck because you disagree with him is a fascist act.
Call it 'totalitarian' I could call it 'terrorist'... the point stays the same that Charlie Kirk was murdered because someone was filled with hate (probably radicalized by leftist ideas - on accord of his parents and himself, but we'll see what will be reported about that), and people are acting like they have to fear Kirk's side.

What's even more surreal is the realization that protesting Disney is ultimately an appropriate response to everything, regardless of what side of an issue you find yourself on... lets you know that we've already lost... just relax and let it happen...

Culprit might actually be some cluster of ABC affiliate stations, with a merger in the works, that pressured ABC to take him off by saying they wouldn't air him (to please the Trump administration and get the merger to go through). I don't yet have the details clear.
