Chieftain Zulu SG

Okay, I have downloaded the game, and hopefully will post later.
Does anyone know any other ways of posting screenshots? I have that and MGI Photosuite II. Neither seem to work very good.

Those were easy. Then again, (in 8th grade) we somehow kept using one of our classmates for part of the sentence - "<name>, who saw the blue light special at K-Mart, <did something>". Plus,

i got it and will probably have to play and post tommorrow but definatly post tommorrow. there is a slight chance it'll be tonite but i very sincerely doubt it.

It might have been expensive but we now have the Chinese capital. we should win a lot easier now, cause after you get the capital the other troops lose a lot more frequently, or so it is in my games.

and here's the game.

hey octavian, i don't think it's to late, but you'll have to ask chieftess. just a question, have you read what's been going on so far? we are Winning.:egypt: :king:

Good job Axid:goodjob: We are now a Monarchy:king: China will be gone soon, and then we'll have the continent to ourselves. As for the settlers, I started them. We have a lot of empty land around Greece, and empty China land soo, plus islands. We'll need settlers. We are doing awesome:D

Octavian, I think there's probably room for you, it's not up to me, but I think we only have 4 people right now

See above, is it too late for me to sign up for this one?

Nope. There's still one more ahead of you (see the 1st page). So, welcome to the game! :)

BTW, for those settlers, there's islands to the south. (See my graphic for city placement). (That's another thing, be sure to look at any graphics and give suggestions if you like).

I'm trying to get in 2 nice screenshots from that save (for city planning), but Pain Shop Pro isn't cooperating right now. :) There's a barb hut in the far north-western location (also an ok 'support' city site). Atleast China looks like a shell of it's former self.

BTW, there's another part of the world left. We haven't heard of any wonder building (The game has to tell you that - there's no getting around it...). That's what makes civ3 so much more fun. You could be busy conquering one continent, and another could have 5 civs waging all out war, and not even know about you! :king:

BTW, Those units south of Hlobane are in a precarious situation. Move that settler to one of the two city sites (and that other settler, too). There's also a town building an Impi. We should be building swordsmen now. (Just a note, we could still use Impis for scouts). We're also going to have to research more naval units if we want to get off of this continent. :) That means a possible late-medieval war, and the Great Lighthouse is a *MUST*! Build it immediately! (in the city with the greatest production - minus corruption). Also, attack with elite units to try an get a great leader. We can hurry an improvement (i.e., the Great Lighthouse) with it.

We're also about to take control of the continent, so we need to think about infrastructure and corruption. A Forbidden Palace could be used in Athens (2nd Great Leader would be nice. :)). Our cities also need marketplaces and courthouses, as well as harbors. (Don't let them get too high in pop. - i.e., aquaducts - that'll only lead to unhappiness, and then civil disorder).

Here's the north part. Build two cities at those city sites. We also need infrastructure in those area (more workers, too. Maybe 2 per square - err, diamond? :) - at the most). There's also a tiny island to the north. Just send one galley, with a settler, and defensive unit (or worker) just in case it's a suitable area.

This is the south. Once China has one to two cities left, it should be all workers and cultural improvements down there. Be sure to build a city near those spices (but not on it).

We also need to raise science. We're getting techs pretty early (4 turns), so I think there's some civs that are a bit more advanced. If we find them, we should find all about them first. (That means no maps until we fill in all the land we can find). We don't want to go rushing in and have the whole world fight against us. (Our tech is starting to go into the middle of the middle ages, and I'm pretty sure others are too).

We are doing really well. I'll play today with the goal of
finishing off China and start settling the continent.

Just a summary of what we want:

* Forbidden Palace - Place in Athens.
* Great Lighthouse (If we get a great leader, use it here first)
* Corn. Obs. and Newton's U. - In Zimbabwe (or anyother city with a high commerce - corruption). (we can use other wonders as place holders)
* Irragation - There's two lakes in the north.
* Infrastructure - We need it, especially in the north
* Harbors - Some cities have stalled
* Commerce - After the war is over, we don't need a lot of swordsmen.
* Caravels, and settlers. We need to explore the seas (light medium blue water), there could be other land. (The islands have a lot of med. blue around them, and just off the south coast).

I am back. :D We had a power outage all night and morning so I couldn't use the computer. A day not online is a long time for me:scan: Chieftess, you would recomend Lighthouse over FP:confused:  !!! We aren't thet far away from caravels if we don't have them already, and I think Astronomy lets you go on ocean. A FP is very important, it takes forever to build without a GL, and the Lighthouse's usefulness is rather limited.

1030 Not much.
1040 Elite swordsman kills Chinese swordsman, I wanna great leader!
1050 Zimbabwe finished Aqueduct, starts harbor. Inotombe finished
courthouse starts swordsman (we need irrigation here).
1060 We destroy a Chinese city.
1070 Ulundi finished aqueduct, starts marketplace.
1080 Tsingtao finished impi, start temple.
1090 ZImbabwe finished harbor, starts library. Build Swazi.
1120 Shanghai is destroyed, rush temple in Beijing.
1160 Hangchow is destroyed. 3 Chinese cities left.
1200 Russia completes the oracle.
1210 France completes the hanging gardens.
1220 My last turn

Ulundi is on palace to get ready for JS Bach's Cathedral, which is
one of the better wonders in the game. Since we will have a good
size continent to ourselves we will not need to focus on military
soon.

We need to get irrigation to Bapdedi and Intombe.
(trying image for the first time)
