You don't need a large scale meat processing plant. A university has room for thousands. You literally could not use that much space for meat processing. Think about it.
How many truckloads of meat products would have to be shipped per hour to keep the factory running at medium-full capacity?
I think if you want a massive processing facility, you should put it in the outskirts/corner of the map.

Buildings:
Wild Stalion Shopping Center (WS): It is a large shopping center with a large amount of legitimate goods for sale. It also includes the McMullan Supermarket, the Supermarket that started it all.
Nick's House (NH): It's his house, nothing too fancy. He has it close by the shopping center to keep an eye on it.
MGM HQ (MG): The headquarters of the Merchant's Guild of Metro, it is the base for all their political campaigning. It also is where they hold their regular meetings with all members to discuss the future of the MGM.

Adding myself as Simon Curtiss, a businessman who mostly makes his money on renting space in his various buildings. Popular because he asks no questions whatever, as long as you keep what you're doing silent. Metaphorically.
Home: Occupying the remaining space on the block occupied by the NNN and Black Guard HQ. Top floor of his apartment building.
Buildings: Apartment building as noted above. 12 stories.
Gas Station - You see the block with MAS East on it? Now the block directly east of it? Now the little block southeast of that? Occupies that block.
Warehouse: Occupies the block north of Vulcan Enterprises.
Another apartment building, this one 8 stories tall and occupying the rest of the block marked MS. Radio station on one floor.
And could someone point me to a reliable image host?

On ANOTHER slow news day, Metro News has talked about the important places within the City.
AA dislikes the OOC stuff so I've removed it. I also changed the placement of the NNN-HQ as It was getting squashed. I made P_F's Uni even larger so it just takes up the whole block, I figured it may as well. Moshers butcher stays the same size, sorry! AA finally gets his buildings in the shapes he desires. But no letters until he makes a introduction post. I think I have everything on it and now CivO can focus on the other things. Like the fact that the fun Protection agency is now run by red spy and still doesn't have an opening post!

@CivO: Considering that there is only five council positions open, is it possible to form a coalition with another organisation, ala Realpolitik?

Why don't you just do it unofficially?
Well, your votes are counted separately, but there are 4 seats for the council and 1 for mayor being voted upon.
You can - and are strongly encouraged to - endorse other candidates for positions, which will make your followers more likely to support them, as well.

CivOasis - does a 2-2 deadlock in the City Council count as a pass? If not, could I suggest changing the city's constitution so the mayor can veto a bill that got precisely 75% of the vote? Otherwise, the veto thing is a little silly.

With Crime on the rise and the major political families too scared to come out into the political arena John Murdock is throwing his hat into the rink for the position of Mayor!
"I believe in Truth and Justice and would vow to do all I could to help improve the image of our fair city now that it has fallen on harder times."
Young Murdock suffered Amnesia when he was but a teenager, it was a sad event which should tug at the heart strings of all viewer, however this event led to his obsession with truth and knowledge. He currently runs the News Media Empire known as Noir News Network. He is also a devout religious man and is a patron of the local universities and even goes to orphanages to kiss babies. Yes John Murdock is a man who could help run this fair town.
Yes if you do anything today you should spread the word about Murdock for Mayor! It's time for a change and something new.
