Civ 4 Sucession Game Registration Thread!

METH01: Culture, with no Wonders.

The title says it all. This game will be going for a cultural victory but absolutely no wonders are allowed in our three culture cities. I'm also considering not allowing any great works in those cities as well. Wonders are allowed in any non-culture cities.

Roster:
Methos
Soul Warrior
MeteorPunch
Conroe
ChrTh

Roster is now full.

Actually you're supposed to click the link then "sign up" from there.

In the case of Open Succession, just say "I got it" then play.

Filthy Americans!

A straight-up Civ game as the Americans, set on Noble.

Game in session now!

We are needing more players in our DI1: OCC AW. We are shy players and are currently down to two, possibly three. It would be nice to get at least one more player, if not two.

WARNING! Be advised, this game is currently dying. What I mean is every AI has units laying siege to use and we are doing our best to keep that final blade out of our heart. We have had all of our city tiles pillaged including the iron that sits just adjacent to our devastated city. We are doing our best to push our friendly neighbors back enough to grab that iron and once again advance.

You’ve been forewarned!

Edit: Well, you might as well ignore the above. We just got defeated.

RB8 - Multiplayer Madness is still looking for alternates. Due to the nature of this game, you can expect to play quite a lot as an alternate - in fact, if you were an alternate you would be playing right now! Jump in on the first game of this kind in civ 4 history!

Geeze these all sure fill fast. I try to check for new games several times a day but never seem to be quick enough.

Someone start another one and let me in! :)

Subscribe to this thread if you haven't already. That way you'll be notified when a new game is posted.

Considering it took less than 2 hours between the last SG post and the time it was edited to say it was full, I understand Perplexity completely (interesting name considering the current situation). I only check a few times a week so I guess I got NO chances of getting lucky enough to find a SG that is not full.

There is still 2 solutions: Find an open game or start a SG myself.

Personnally, I am going to do the GOTM first, but I suggest you start one Perplexity. That way, you are sure to be in one. :)

New Game (JOE-01)! Check out the below for more details.

Basically, I'm wanting mostly noobers plus someone more experienced to attempt a domination or conquest victory in a standard sized archy map. Level will be Noble so it doesn't get too scary for me and the noobers. I'm wanting this to be a learning experience thus the request for a more experienced player to correct all our mistakes!

1. I'm thinking about dragging some ifriends from another innernets board to run a game here. (Ours doesn't have image support) :crazyeye:

2. Anyway now that PBEM Hotseat is up isn't it possible to just host the game on one computer rather than emailing the save all over? Or is there some logistical problem with this I am not seeing?

I'm new to SGs and while I've been consistently successful at getting high-score victories on lower levels, I haven't been as successful on higher levels, or with the variant victory types. I've picked up some useful tactics, but have problems with my overall strategy. I read some posts about Training Day games, and while I don't feel totally incompetant at Prince difficulty, I would be interested in playing a SG with at least one more experience player willing to discuss their strategy and the logic behind it for a Culture, Diplomatic or Military (either domination or conquest) type vicotry, without being limited by special rules. Let me know if anyone would be interested in leading a game like this, or if there are other new players who would be interested.
