In tracker it's still your turn. When I replaced Kokturk in some games the others just uploaded the saves to "Kokturk" but I could open the saves anway with "view turn"-option, since I knew the password. So I think Chasbolt should be able to upload the turn even if i went to "Monster".

However, when i go to change in-game name to Chasbolt, it does not take, it remains Monster = ??

"Tri Civ" = .19 / 5.2
"Octofish" = .33 / 3
"Redofish" = .21 / 4.8
"Instant Karma" = .58 / 1.7
"3rd Tribe" = .5 / 2.0
"Civ Fix" = .54 / 1.9

However, "18-but-not-Earth", continues a seriously quik group! May even speed up soon with only 11 left.
