CIV Gold!

Yes, I really need to be able to play Scotland again! (Now that I am playing BtS and not Warlords!)

I love Civgold, you polished Warlords off nicely for my last 8 months! :)

Keep it going!

One more thing, it should be Atatürk, not Attatürk, and did you ever seen a photo of him?Are you sure that he looks like Cyrus? He has blue eyes , short blonde hair, white skin. This is humiliating.

Sorry, I thought I addressed this above.

The spelling has been changed. The LH has been changed, too. The new LH, while not perfect, is a much better representation.

When I load this mod in CIV4, civs are disapperar :(

Are you using a non-English version of CIV4? There is a known problem with mods after version 1.61 when a non-English version of the game is used. There is a fix available if you check the CIV Gold project forum.

This error will be fixed for all versions in 4.0.

Just out of curiosity, will a BTS version be released, and if so, is there an estimated time frame?

Thanks.

I think it will take some time tbh..

A BtS version is currently in development, targeted for the end of this month.

Do I have to install 1.0 and 2.0 first?

No, just download Gold Warlords 3.0, then install the patch to play on the 2.13 version.

Welcome back Wyz ! It has been a month without you posting at CFC ... I know because I just started to wonder. :mischief:

Sorry about that. :(

Real life is kicking...my...ass.

It's mostly all good, but with the new baby (last August) and my 3-year old at a very high-maintenance stage, I barely have time to do the job I'm paid to do. :p

But I'll be around. The project marches on.

CIV Gold 3.0 beta for Beyond the Sword now available

http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=7742

This is a fully functional version marked as beta only because there are a number of small tweaks and additions to be made. The final version will be posted soon and will need to be re-downloaded. Many of you may be content with the beta as the final will more consistent of some additional LHs and some art swaps.

CIV Gold 4.0 is in progress.

I posted a huge BTS map of Europe in the project developement forum for the latest verison of CivGold3. See thread for details.

Mini-progress report for Final:

Done

- replaced UU art for Indonesia (Kopassus)
- replaced UU art for Pakistan (SSG)
- replaced UU art for Magyar (Huszar)

In progress

- adding Makeda as 2nd leader for Yemen
- adding Selassie as 2nd leader for Ethiopia
- adding Hirohito as 2nd leader for Japan
- adding Menzies as 2nd leader for Australia
- blocking King and Jean as leaders for Canada (for balance)
- replacing flag for Assyria (standardizing with other flags)
- replacing LH art for Yagan (using esnaz's model)
- adding Rabbit, White's Ethnically Diverse Units
- adding Geomodders' ethnic city tilesets

To consider:

We need to deal with the overlap between the Firaxis Native American Empire and the 3.0 Sioux (not to mention 4.0 native civ additions)

No progress on any renaisance era Italian civs?

No progress on any renaisance era Italian civs?

There won't be any separate Italian civs (i.e. Florence), besides Italy as a whole (and the existing Rome, of course). At least that's the outlook at present. The decision was may to prevent too much overlapping among city-state kingdoms and empires.

There will be, however, some Italian civs listed in the new Barbarian list.
