Here's the first batch of leaders. About 100 or so.
I'll have the other two (or hopefully just one, if I can) batch in a short bit.

I've gotta say... a lot of these traits are really, really... odd. I'll go through later and suggest alternates.

Hoi, If you take advice I would adivce the following for Leopold II of Belgium:

His favorite civics: Hereditary Rule

His traits are currently: Phi/Imp

Imp suits him, Phi deff not.

I would replace Phi with Exp or Ind or Agg

I can implement the trait changes -I certainly don't mind. Many LHs made of the community or those coming from mods might have had those traits previously.

But I'll have to redo the .zip and .exe files, so a download would more likely be available Saturday instead of today. If no one minds the extra day, I'll look into your suggestions.

No. I'd love that, but I don't have it right now and I'm the only one working on this so I don't have the time at the moment.

Anyone in the community willing to put one together? That would be extremely helpful.

It would also help in comparing UUs for balance. I try to make sure it's balanced but there may be a UU or UB here in there that might be out of line with others.

Some LHs you might consider adding:
Gustav Adolph (Sweden)
Itzcoatl (Azteca)
Brian Boru (Ireland)
Yaroslav the Wise (Ukraine)
Nefertiti (Egypt)<----- The BEST custom LH ever (before the new Alexander, that is)

Oh, and by the way, I was very surprised to learn that Smoke Jaguar was a Pope of the Roman Catholic church. You'd better change his Civilopedia entry.

I thought I had the latest Putin and Dido. I'll re-check. I'll add Gustav Adolph and Brian Boru if someone else can do the XML in the same format used by Gold. At this stage, it's a bit late to add anything, but I'll do it if I can get some help.

As for the other replacements, I consciously choose the ones I used over some of these, but in retrospect, that is a better Charles V.

Brian Boru comes with xml, you just need to paste it into an actual xml file and you're done.
You could use the Nefertiti LH as Cleopatra, by the way. Also, I don't really understand how the Kamehameha, Robert the Bruce and Mary in CivGold are better that those I suggested?! Or maybe I misunderstood you?

There is always great work coming out of the community. If I add every new or better piece, 5.1 will never get out.

You misunderstood...sort of

I'm not saying they're better, just that I mde a conscious decision to keep the others for various reasons.

But as per the message above, I'll re-visit these suggestions - especially for the above three - but I'll close off after that.

Okay, added Bornu, Gustav, Nefertiti and Itzcoatl as leaders.

Changed the leaderhead art for Putin, Dido, Charles V, Kamehameha, Mary Queen of Scots and Robert the Bruce.

Made trait changes to Leopold II, Ahmadinejad, Ben Gurion, Bush, Hussein, Lenin, Ramkhamheang, Richard I, Smoke Jaguar and Songsten Gampo.

That's it for 5.1.

Test is fine. Need to archive, upload, etc.

As above - I never said "better". I just said the the decision was a conscious one. I *did*, however, go back today and replace some current leaders with a few more of yours. The Capo is well represented.

I like Yaroslav, but at some point you have to close the cabin door for takeoff. I spent all of today's session in Calgary working on CIV Gold on my laptop - adding the stuff requested yesterday and today. (Sssssh...don't tell anyone).

Cybrxkhan has a few more civs to convert for Gold, and I'm sure there is more community content to come (like your Salamasina and GeoModders new city art sets), so 6.0 will certainly happen.

I just noticed this: Apache and Navajo have the same button.

One day I'm remaking all the civ buttons and flag in Civ Gold.

Along with that, I'm adding diplomacy text for many of the leaders. Me and IgorS have written and recollected quite a bit of text for many leaders. Recently, because of Civ Gold, I've written some for Leopold, along with text to be shared with the two popes. I personally consider the "actual quotes" used by new leaser forced and unnatural. We consider ours more Firaxian in style.

[EDIT: The same thing happens with the Seminole and Cherokee. Seriously, Wyz? Yeah, the flag remake is on. Also, WTH is up with Saakashvili's eyes? And where is Taizong? You can't skip him. He's Firaxis-made, for Pete's sake!
