I've never heard them speak, either. I'm guessing because I don't have animations turned on (computer can't handle them). But it would be nice if they'd play even without animations.

The leaders animations are just waiting in YouTube if your PC cannot play it ingame.

I like Victoria, and while she is usually represented in her old age, the did 'reign' for a long time. Refreshing to see a younger depiction. Philip II, on the other hand, does not act anything like Philip II was supposed to have as a historical figure. Forgivable, yes, but he is a poor representation.

Jadwiga is one of the few waifus in the game. As much as I like his expressiveness and his sense of humour, Philip II of Spain is known as "The Prudent" for a reason, and thus, the animations are out-of-character.

Philip II = 1-3=-2 (ELIMINATED) - Nope, I still don't like when he screams at me and swings his sword furiously in his denounce animation. Deserves to go.

John Curtin = 6 + 1 = 7 (Excellent voice acting, lines, relatively accurate portrayal (including hat), and well animated).
Cleopatra = 10

Pericles = 6 - 3 = 3. He of the plasticine arms and stereotypical Greek philosopher stance needs to go--it would be one thing if this was Solon, but it's Pericles, a Greek general. Does this old man look like a general to you? Does he sound like a great orator to you? No. So it's not Pericles. Therefore he must go. Even Gilgamesh is more recognizably like his legendary counterpart, than Pericles like his real life counterpart.
